Julie Pangelinan

Ms. Pangelinan was named chief financial officer in June 2009. In this role, she oversees the Company’s accounting, tax, treasury, budgeting and forecasting, information technology, risk management and purchasing functions in the U.S. as well as the accounting organizations in the UK and Germany.  She joined Sunrise in April 2006 as the Company’s chief accounting officer.

Prior to joining Sunrise, Ms. Pangelinan worked for Marriott International, Inc. as vice president, accounting policy. Ms. Pangelinan was responsible for providing proactive leadership on accounting policy for business transactions and deal structures, as well as managing all external financial reporting and regulatory filings and ensuring compliance with the rules of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and generally accepted accounting principles. Prior to working at Marriott International, Inc., Ms. Pangelinan was an audit partner at BDO Seidman, LLP.

Ms. Pangelinan received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from San Francisco State University, where she graduated magna cum laude. Ms. Pangelinan is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
