When hosting a party, it's important to make sure there is plenty of food for your guests to snack on. Whether it's a dinner party or a casual gathering, appetizers are a must, and finger foods are even better when socializing.

Sunrise's Parmesan Pillows are a great addition to any social gathering you might be hosting. Not only are these tasty, but they feature garlic, which has long been touted for its various health benefits. The New York Times reports the herb could protect against certain cancers.

Parmesan Pillows

1 Cup Mayonnaise
1 Cup Parmesan Cheese
Juice of 1 Lemon
2 tablespoons chopped fresh Curley Parsley
2 tablespoons minced Red Onion
1 teaspoon Creamed Garlic
Salt & Black Pepper to Taste
White Pullman Bread

Mix the first eight ingredients and place in cooler to chill.

Remove the crust from 12 slices of bread.

Cut the bread from corner to corner making triangles.

Place on a sheet tray and toast in the oven lightly.

Let the toast points cool then spread 1 tablespoon of the parmesan mixture evenly.

Broil or bake until bubbly and slightly browned on top.

Dust with a little parmesan cheese and serve.
