Ian Monteith

Executive Director

“Prior to joining the Sunrise team I was a patient advocate with a specialty in dementia.

My favorite part of my job is having a direct impact on residents, families and team members. The position of Executive Director allows me the freedom to make positive changes in many people’s lives on a daily basis.

Sunrise, as a company, lives and breathes its mission to champion the quality of life for all seniors. Be it a front line team member, or my Director of Operations, Sunrise talks the talk and walks the walk. I am just a small cog in a big wheel, yet I share the same values and beliefs as the entire company.

My spare time is almost always spent with my best friend and hero, my wife, plus my two children ages three and five. I enjoy reading, fishing and I am a huge movie buff. More than anything, I enjoy singing in the car (much to my family’s chagrin).”

Mary Chilcote

Director of Sales

“I began my career with Sunrise in September of 2016. I enjoy establishing working relationships with residents and families and educating them on our Sunrise Difference.

My favorite part of my job is my daily interactions with families, our residents and my fellow team members.

I enjoy gardening and reading in my spare time.”

Quinessa Brown

Lead Care Manager

“For the past five years, I have worked with seniors and adults with disabilities. The residents are, hands down, the best part of my job!  If I’m having a bad day, they make me feel better. I enjoy talking with and learning from our residents.

Outside of work, I enjoy going to the movies and hanging out with my family.”

Teresa Mahadeva

Lead Concierge

“I have worked with Sunrise since October 2015.  I have 30 years of customer service experience.

I really enjoy interacting with our residents and listening to their journeys from the past and present. I appreciate the opportunity to help our new residents find their special place in their new home here at Sunrise of Exton.

In my free time, I enjoy helping seniors and autistic children learn calming strategies through Reiki.”

Bryan Chant

Director of Culinary Services

“I have worked for Sunrise as a coordinator for just shy of 10 years, I am a 3.8 GPA graduate of The Academy of Culinary Arts in Mays Landing, NJ, and I have 15 years of additional related experience.

My favorite part of my job is the feeling of accomplishment when I have happy and satisfied residents at the end of the meal (“the second paycheck”),  as well as presenting food demonstrations for our residents.

In my spare time, I am a husband and step-parent of two boys, who are 11 and 15.  I am a hummingbird enthusiast - I love my H-birds! I also enjoy growing raspberries, hunting, fishing, going to the beach, surfing, snowboarding in the winter and just being outside.”

Cheryl Armstrong

Business Office Coordinator

“Prior to joining Sunrise, I served as an Administrative and Legal Officer in the U.S. Marine Corps for nearly 25 years.

My favorite part of my job is walking into the building in the morning and feeling like I’m walking into a home, not a place of business. In our environment, our residents enjoy a home-like atmosphere in which they get to enjoy and participate in a number of activities throughout the day that bring smiles to their faces.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family.”

cinty mccammon sunrise of exton team member

Cindy McCammon

Dining Room Care Manager

“I have worked at Sunrise for 10 years. My favorite part of my job is interacting with our residents and hearing their stories. I also very much enjoy meeting the family members. Working for Sunrise brings me personal satisfaction. I feel rewarded at the end of the day knowing that I have helped to champion the quality of life for our seniors.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Tom, as well as my two girls. I also love to garden, exercise and take my dog for long walks.”

Pam Snow

Activities & Volunteer Assistant and Concierge

“My background and degrees are in social work.  Of my 13 years as a social worker, much of my work involved a geriatric population.  Working with seniors is truly where I am the happiest, which is why Sunrise has been a good choice for me.

My favorite part of my role here is knowing when I have made a difference in someone’s day, even for something that might otherwise seem insignificant.  I feel lucky that these opportunities present themselves almost every day here.

When I’m not at Sunrise, I like to spend time with my husband and two teenage children, as well as my extended family (I have six siblings and an elderly mother).  I also love to read and work in my yard.”
