“Before I knew about Sunrise, I served as my grandmother’s primary caregiver. I placed her in three different senior living communities in Texas during the course of five years. Had I known about Sunrise and the amazing people who work for this company, I would have placed her there. There is no comparison in the team members’ dedication to our principles of service and belief in our mission: to champion the quality of life for all seniors. I am proud to say I work at Sunrise!

During my nine years at Sunrise, I’ve enjoyed interacting with our residents the most. They have so much history to share and I look forward to seeing each and every one of them daily. And, of course, I love the Sunrise signatures – particularly our community dog, Josie.”

“I began my culinary career with the US Army Quartermaster Food Service Program in 2001. I began my civilian career in 2009, splitting time between hospital and casino food programs. In November 2013, I moved to Las Vegas and came to Sunrise Henderson as a cook. I love being a part of this team and later took on my current role as Dining Services Coordinator Yolanda in September 2015.”

“I have been working as the Assisted Living Coordinator at Sunrise of Henderson for two and half years. Initially, I chose Sunrise Senior Living as an opportunity to gain experience with my degree. I remain here because of the expectations the company has for its residents and team members. I love being able to assist residents and their family members with transitioning into our community. When I go home at the end of the day, I feel grateful that I was able to be a positive factor in someone else’s life. The resident’s and their loved one’s truly become a part of our family.”
