Amy’s grandparents, former residents of Sunrise, inspired her to join the team at Sunrise of Marlboro. She says it is her personal experience that helps her identify and empathize with the residents and their loved ones. Amy, who has a background in corporate communications and a minor in business and healthcare administration, says her passion for senior care led her to Sunrise.
“I enjoy being the Executive Director at Sunrise of Marlboro because I have the opportunity to be a dedicated and servant leader while always keeping the residents and my team members at the heart of any decisions I make,” Amy said. “I am committed to the Sunrise mission and I truly enjoy being a part of this amazing team.”
Outside of work, Amy likes to spend quality time with her husband and family and go see Broadway musicals.
Barbara says she loves spending time with the residents and learning about their past experiences. She calls her team compassionate, supportive and dedicated and says she truly takes pride in the care they provide.
When she’s not at work, Barbara enjoys family time, traveling, listening to music, cooking and taking walks on the beach.
