At The Carlisle, our chef takes pride in making each meal an excellent dining experience for our residents and their families.
Working with his experienced team, Executive Chef Christopher Sheldon carefully creates his own menu and focuses on using locally grown, seasonal produce. Paying close attention to the cultural diversity of our residents, Chef Chris incorporates dishes from around the world into each week’s menu. He also takes cues from the influential restaurants in surrounding San Francisco and includes as many current food trends into his menu planning as possible, all while taking into account each resident’s specific nutritional needs and preferences.
With years of experience in the food service industry, Chef Chris says he appreciates the opportunity to bring a fine dining experience into our residents’ home every day. He is honored to have the opportunity to make a difference in their lives by creating healthy and delicious meals.
I really enjoyed the pork tenderloin – it was tender and perfectly cooked, and the sauce was tangy and sweet. The sweet potato fries were great too. Thanks!
