We’re expanding operations and welcoming brighter days.
For nearly 40 years, our communities have been powered by a family of serving hearts. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Sunrise team members continue to place the welfare of our residents first—acting with compassion, courage, and commitment. With evidence-based infection control efforts and ongoing training, we are dedicated to promoting the health and safety of our extraordinary team members. Not all heroes wear capes, but at Sunrise, our HEROES WEAR ORANGE!
Team members at Sunrise of Grosse Pointe Woods, MI, celebrated Senior Citizens Day with a '50s-themed social cart, vintage candy and music, and an Elvis trivia game!
Sunrise of Troy, MI, recently turned into the happiest place on Earth during "Disney Day!" Team members surprised residents by dressing up as characters and serving themed drinks and snacks.
Residents enjoyed a taste of Hawaii when team members at Brighton Gardens of Columbia gave their Suite Stops a makeover, complete with music, piña coladas, and macadamia nut cookies.
Residents at Sunrise of Wayne, NJ, enjoyed Pirate Day as team members dressed up, decorated their Suite Stop cart like a ship, and sailed down the hallways to visit residents with games and prizes.
We have always been committed to providing our team members with a uniquely supportive community where they can make a difference and discover their full potential. Now, more than ever, we’re driven by our core values like trust, stewardship, and passion as we work to take care of our heroes in orange.
In addition to rewarding our dedicated team members with a paid “Day of Gratitude” as they become fully vaccinated, we are proud to share that Sunrise has taken the important step of introducing vaccinations as a required and essential job function for all new and current community team members in the U.S. To continue protecting the health and safety of our communities, we expect them all to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 no later than July 31, subject to applicable laws and Sunrise policies. This decision was made carefully with advice from public health officials to promote the safety of everyone in our community.
Sunrise is taking extra steps to help promote the health and well-being of our team members, including:
As our team members provide personalized, compassionate care, we will continue supporting them as the COVID-19 pandemic evolves.
In the face of uncertainty and significant challenges, our team members are maintaining a level of normalcy and positivity that exceeds the expectations of our residents and their families.
