For nearly 40 years, Sunrise Senior Living communities have been powered by a family of serving hearts. During the COVID-19 outbreak, Sunrise team members continue to place the welfare of our residents first, acting with compassion, courage, and commitment. Our heroes show up, every day, to fulfill our collective mission: to Champion Quality of Life for all Seniors. Not all heroes wear capes, in fact—at Sunrise, our HEROES WEAR ORANGE!
Sunrise of Troy, recently turned into the happiest place on Earth during "Disney Day!" Team members surprised residents by dressing up as characters and serving themed drinks and snacks.
Christmas came early at Sunrise of Fair Oaks, when team members delivered snow globes, gourmet coffee, a themed word search, coconut snowballs, and hot chocolate to residents’ suites.
Residents enjoyed a taste of Hawaii when team members at Brighton Gardens of Columbia gave their Suite Stops a makeover, complete with music, piña coladas, and macadamia nut cookies.
To celebrate National Ice Cream Month, team members at Brighton Gardens of Westlake created an ice cream truck of their own for residents to enjoy.
Our team members at Sunrise of Basking Ridge helped resident Muriel and her husband Herb celebrate their 50th anniversary by surprising them with a family drive-by visit.
In the face of uncertainty and significant challenges, our team members are returning to their communities each day and maintaining a level of normalcy and positivity that exceeds the expectations of our residents and their families. Consider donating to The Sunrise Good Samaritan Fund a non-profit whose mission is to support Sunrise team members experiencing financial hardship. Learn More.
