We’re welcoming brighter days while continuing to promote health and safety.
We are proud to share that 66 Sunrise Senior Living communities were recently recognized with a Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award. With the inclusion of last year’s winners, Sunrise has a total of 142 Bronze National Quality Award recipients, the most of any single assisted living provider.
“As part of the Sunrise Quality Promise, all of our communities are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality senior care, said Sue Coppola, SVP of Care for Sunrise. “We also celebrate those participating in AHCA/NCAL’s National Quality Award Program – further demonstrating their commitment to quality and being on a collaborative, continuous improvement journey that involves residents, families and team members.”

The award is presented by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) as part of its National Quality Award Program, which is modeled on core principles and criteria of the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program.
The program includes three progressive levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold. Trained examiners review each member application to determine if the center has met the criteria. The Bronze National Quality Award recognizes long-term and post-acute communities’ commitment to striving for quality improvement through a systematic approach.
