Abby Johnson

During this year’s National Nurses Week (May 6-12), we are taking time to celebrate many of our extraordinary nurses here at Sunrise Senior Living. Abby Johnson, a nurse at Brighton Gardens of Omaha, is described by her co-workers as “a role model” and by community family members as “an angel.”

“Abby is a team member who sets the Sunrise mission into action. Those who work with her respect, appreciate and love her.”  - Wendy Grosse, Executive Director, Brighton Gardens of Omaha

Abby is a nurse who can be counted on to stop what she’s doing and help a resident or fellow team member in need. An excellent nurse who consistently delivers quality care, Abby is the first to jump in and complete any task, big or small. She remains calm in difficult situations and her composure creates a feeling of security throughout the community. As part of the Sunrise family for more than four years, she is unanimously considered a fantastic nurse who deserves recognition. For all that you do, Abby, your Sunrise family thanks you.

Join us in celebrating a nurse who has made a difference in your life this week. Share a photo or story about your favorite Sunrise nurse on Facebook or Twitter and use the hashtags #SunriseCares and #NursesWeek.
