Carmen Louise

Executive Director

“I have been with Sunrise since 2013. I am a licensed NHA and have worked as a social worker, a business office manager, and as a certified nursing assistant in skilled nursing facilities. I love interacting with the residents and knowing that I have the privilege of making a positive direct daily impact on their lives.

At Sunrise, I have the opportunity to work with great people and be a part of a company that invests in its employees and is always the leader in the industry.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching sporting events and reading. The kids and I love going to Michigan in the summers and swimming in Lake Michigan, climbing the sand dunes and spending time with extended family.”

"I began my career at Sunrise in 2013. I served as a Northern Virginian Long Term Care Ombudsman for five years before joining the Sunrise family.

I enjoy meeting prospective residents and their families and assisting them with finding the perfect community. Celebrating Individuality is my favorite Principle of Service. The best part of my job is learning from the residents. Everyone has a unique story to tell and something wonderful to share.

My role as Director of Sales allows me the opportunity to be a part of their lives and hopefully make a positive impact!”

“Prior to joining Sunrise in April 2016, I worked in skilled nursing, health and case management.

At Sunrise, I love knowing that I can make a difference in someone’s life, and I enjoy helping the elderly population. Our team here at Sunrise of Braddock Glen values teamwork and treating our residents and fellow team members with dignity and respect.

In my spare time, I like to shop, spend time with my family, read and watch TV.”

“Prior to coming to Sunrise in 2011, I worked at a bakery and restaurant. I love providing care for seniors, listening to each person and learning from their life experiences.

As the DSC, I like to interact with our residents and try to meet their dietary needs. Outside of work, I love music. I play guitar and sing in a band.”

“I’ve been a Sunrise team member for 17 years. I have worked in resident care, housekeeping, activities, concierge and administrations.

I enjoy working with the residents and team members. At Sunrise, the team members are encouraged to grow in different areas of the company.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, creating new dishes and spending time with my kids.”

Activities Volunteer Coordinator

“I joined the Sunrise of Braddock Glen team in 2006. I have worked as a housekeeper and a concierge with Sunrise, but most of my career has been in the nursing field.

I enjoy ensuring that our residents are happy, working as a team with coworkers and scheduling activities for the residents.

When I’m not at work, I like to spend time with my family.”
