Michael Wilson team member profileMichael Wilson

Executive Director

“Seeing people grow at Sunrise is so rewarding. Whether it’s a team member who just reached a milestone or a resident who pushed herself out of her comfort zone, as executive director, I am always inspired by the successes of everyone at Brighton Gardens of Greensboro. That’s what makes the culture here so special.

In my free time, I love going to horse competitions with my daughter.”

Director of Sales

“Getting to know families and residents makes every day at Brighton Gardens of Greensboro exciting. I learn something new each day, and the residents and families make me want to come in every morning and figure out how we can improve their lives and offer peace of mind.

I love the ability to learn from those around me and to grow, both personally and professionally, within the company.

In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis and working around my house!”

Nina Wilkinson team member profileNina Wilkinson

Director of Sales

“I love hearing the incredible stories our residents share. These stories inspire me to work my hardest to ensure their lives continue to be as fulfilling when they move into Brighton Gardens of Greensboro.

The feeling of walking into our community gets me excited to come into work each morning. The smell of fresh food, the sound of our residents playing music, and being surrounding by such inviting décor all makes Brighton Gardens home.

I spend my time outside of work with my husband and daughter. We enjoy traveling, especially to visit family in Massachusetts and Connecticut. I also enjoy cooking, reading, shopping, and crafts!”

Resident Care Director

“I’ve been with Sunrise for over six years—four as a wellness nurse and two as resident care director.

Sunrise has provided me with the opportunity to grow, both in my career and personally. I love that my role allows me to leave lasting impressions on our residents.

Outside of work, I love animals and spending time with my daughters.”

Destiny Chapman team member profileDestiny Chapman

Reminiscence Coordinator

“I have worked at Sunrise Senior Living for 8 years. I started with Sunrise as an assisted living coordinator in our Winston Salem community, and for the last 3 years, have worked as the Reminiscence coordinator in our Greensboro community.

I have had the opportunity to see my residents flourish in the memory care setting; being able to connect with my residents and families on a very personal level is something that’s really special about Sunrise.

When not working, I enjoy shopping and spending time with my two sons and husband.”

Melinda Evans team member profileMelinda Evans

Assisted Living Coordinator

“Before taking on the role of assisted living coordinator, I worked as Reminiscence coordinator at Brighton Gardens of Greensboro. The day-to-day interactions with my families and residents make this role so worthwhile.

Sunrise prides itself on making a difference in our field, and I think Brighton Gardens of Greensboro really reflects that attitude. We care deeply about our residents and put them first in all of our decisions.

When not working with our residents and families, I enjoy hiking and reading.”
