I have worked at Sunrise since September 2019 and I have been in the Senior Living Industry for over 3 years.  I also owned a catering business for 20 years and I enjoyed cooking for my senior customers!

My favorite part of my job is getting to know all the residents and their families. They have amazing stories to tell and have done unbelievable things and have so much to share. I love the feeling of moving a new resident in and knowing that they are going to be taken care of and be a part of a community. 

The best part of working at Sunrise is the sense of team we all have.  Everyone jumps in to help in all departments and I think that just really benefits the residents.  I also really like all the training I am getting.  I know that I am well prepared to do my job every single day.

In my spare time I love to spend it with my daughters.  They grew up way too fast and I’m trying to enjoy every minute with them.  I also adopt senior dogs and dogs on hospice.  I make a bucket list for them and we try and check all the boxes!

There are so many good stories and life experiences that I have learned from in the time that I have been here. The residents continue to make me a better person.

 In my spare time, I love to camp, kayak and enjoy the outdoors. One of my goals is to visit every National Park in America."

"My name is Dorothy Harold, most call me Dotty. I was first hired by Sunrise in 2007 as the Housekeeping Coordinator. It is a joy to be back under the Sunrise umbrella. I have worked within this industry for the past eleven years as a Director of Assisted Living. Having an opportunity to lead, coach and educate my care managers, assisting with care as needed; making a difference in the senior’s lives; while providing support to the families of every resident. I enjoy reading, furthering my education; remaining current on the changes within this industry. Spending quality time with my husband Michael, my puppy Mocha, traveling to visit family and friends."

In my spare time, I enjoy watching sports and movies, and spending time outside. I also enjoy working on cars."
