Brighton Gardens is built on a commitment to our residents and their families. We believe no two people are alike, so the services and attention we provide should never be exactly the same. That’s why we also offer a variety of lifestyle, service and care options. By providing these choices, we not only offer solutions for today, but we provide the security of knowing that there are options for tomorrow.
“My name is Lisa Nastase and I am a physical therapist assistant and will be the rehab director for Brighton Gardens. I am an Omaha native and graduated from Clarkson College in 2004. I have worked in skilled nursing and home health since my graduation from PTA school. I am passionate about helping our older adults achieve success in their lives to allow them to improve quality of life as long as they possibly can. I am married with two daughters and currently live in Valley, NE. My family enjoys spending time together and participating in a variety of recreational activities from soccer and volleyball to kayaking. I am excited about my new role at Brighton Gardens and look forward to developing strong partnerships to benefit our residents and community!”
"I have been working in the dietary department of long term care facilities for 20 years and a Certified Dietary Manager for 6 years. I have been in the Army National Guard for 18 years as a Culinarian with extensive experience in Food Service Operations.
I thoroughly enjoy working with residents, staff and other peers on a daily basis. I truly believe nutrition plays a vital role in our daily lives. When residents are pleased with their meal selections; it can have a positive impact on their day, interactions, and has therapeutic benefits on their medical status.”
"I started with Sunrise Senior Living as a Care Manager at Brighton Gardens in 2012. I worked my way through nursing school and was promoted to LPN. Then after obtaining my RN, I became the RN Wellness Nurse. As an RN, for a short time I left to work in home care and at a rehab hospital.
I returned home to Brighton Gardens in 2017 and am honored to serve our residents as Resident Care Director. I am currently taking classes online to get my Bachelor’s Degree.
In my free time, I love watching movies with my husband or going on nature walks with my golden retriever, Kona, and Labrador retriever, Dillon."
“Prior to taking on this role at Brighton Gardens of Omaha, I worked in another senior living community for five years.
As Reminiscence coordinator, I love interacting with the residents and the team. The fun events here and the meal times really make the residents’ days, and those times make my job especially rewarding.
Outside of work, I love dancing and singing karaoke.”
“I started at Brighton Gardens of Omaha in 2013 and have worked as lead care manager and accounting assistance, prior to taking on my current role of assisted living coordinator. I am proud to have recently attained my degree in healthcare administration.
I am passionate for the long-term care of seniors and bring that passion with me to work daily. I am committed to our residents and will do whatever it takes to ensure everyone is well taken care of. I’ve built such amazing relationships with residents and families in my role, and I feel fortunate to work with such wonderful people.
I love spending my time outside of work with my son Stetson, gardening, and tending to my chickens.”
“I enjoy my role here at Sunrise because it’s a fun job that puts smiles on our residents’ faces. I can utilize my creativity and compassion to improvise a program that will champion each resident’s quality of life through individually tailored activities that match their hobbies and interests. I love seeing residents try new things, go on new outings and just having fun. We have Activity Assistants in all areas of our community that will genuinely go that extra mile for your loved one. I couldn’t ask for a better career or company to work for!”
