Executive Director

“I’ve been a member of the Sunrise Senior Living team for the past four years, and have worked in the healthcare industry for more than 25 years.

As the Executive Director of Brighton Gardens of Saddle River, I have the pleasure of being part of each department in the community.  I tour with families who are looking on behalf of their loved ones, I welcome new residents into our community and their new home and I am part of each residents’ customized day-to-day care.

My favorite part of my job is the time I get to spend with each resident, whether I’m dealing the Friday afternoon poker game, pouring coffee in the dining room or just having a chat during the course of the day.

I value every resident and appreciate each team member in our community. Our team members work hard to ensure our residents needs and wants are met.”

Director of Sales

“I have worked with Sunrise Senior Living for three years, and have been in the senior living industry for the past seven years.  Although I enjoyed my previous career in the hospitality industry, I thought there had to be something else out there for me.

When I was introduced to senior living, my days became vibrant. The Director of Sales role is a lot of work, but it never feels like work to me. With each day I’m able to meet with new families and guide potential residents on a journey to a fulfilled lifestyle. This has brought great joy to my life; I feel whole and excited to wake up and start the day. Each resident brings something meaningful and interesting to our community and that is what makes my job so special.”

Reminiscence Coordinator, CDP, CADDCT, ADC

“I started at Sunrise Senior Living as a care manager in 2003 and have worked my way up to becoming a Reminiscence Coordinator.  I am certified as a dementia care practitioner and as an Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer.

Being a Reminiscence Coordinator allows me to make a difference in our residents’ lives. As I get to know their past and the experiences they have had, they become part of my family. I am honored to be of service to my residents and their families.”

Activities Volunteer Coordinator & Community Pet

“I have been with Sunrise Senior Living for 13 years. I began as a concierge and worked my way up to becoming the Activities and Volunteer Coordinator. Prior to joining Sunrise, I volunteered for more than 10 years in local senior communities.  It was important to me to ensure the quality of life for every senior I came across.

I enjoy every facet of my job. I love bringing our Live with Purpose programming to our residents and providing them with the quality of life they so deserve. It’s my honor and pleasure to serve our residents here at Brighton Gardens. They each have a special place in my heart.

Luna is both my partner and our community pet. She has been with Brighton Gardens of Saddle River for eight years. She provides therapy and so much love and joy to the residents and team members.”
