At Brighton Gardens of St. Charles, IL, our Dining team understands that food is an important aspect of senior living. Our community favorites and top requests include many of the classics: old-fashioned sloppy joes, beef stew and chicken and rice, just to name a few!
Our custom baked potato and pasta nights have been a real hit where residents can choose how to build their own plate to their liking! And we can’t forget breakfast. We now regularly feature a variety of favorites like biscuits and gravy, Belgium waffles, fresh fruit and a resident favorite – fresh donuts!
Each month our resident-based food committee meets to discuss any changes or special requests that the Dining team should know about to best fit the dietary needs and preferences of our residents. On major holidays, food is central to the celebrations. We do a Surf and Turf dinner for Valentine’s Day, Corned Beef and Cabbage for St. Patrick’s Day, Mexican Food for Cinco de Mayo, and so much more!
