“I have been with Sunrise since July of 2015. Before joining the Sunrise team, I served as the director of a cemetery in New Jersey for 14 years, handling every aspect of the business, including daily interaction with families and their loved ones. 

Each day, I have the opportunity to meet new people, tour them through Brighton Gardens and explain how our Sunrise Principles of Service can benefit and enhance the lives of their loved ones. The very best part of working at Sunrise is the daily interaction with the residents; I enjoy learning about their life experiences and successes. I am always amazed at what exciting lives many of our residents have had. 

In my spare time, I love going to the beach with my husband and living the Florida lifestyle.”

“This coming August, I will celebrate 13 years of service with Sunrise Senior Living. I started here at Brighton Gardens as a volunteer and brought my life experience with me! My favorite part of my job is working with friendly, passionate team members every day in a beautiful environment.   Also, I get to the opportunity to meet many wonderful families and professionals.

I enjoy helping families to make one of the most difficult decisions they may ever have to make.  This process can be overwhelming and once the decision and the actual move into Brighton Gardens is made, it is very satisfying to see happy residents and families who now have peace of mind.   

I love spending any free time with my husband at the beach and we enjoy dining out.  I also look forward to traveling and enjoying family vacations with our three adult children and their spouses.”

“I have worked with Sunrise for six years. I was the social services coordinator for two years, and then was promoted to sales four years ago. Previously, I was a social services specialist at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa. 

My favorite part of my job is seeing my residents improve during their stay with us in skilled nursing. I begin my assessment while they are in the hospital, when they are very sick. To see them walk out of my building at discharge brings me so much joy. 

At Sunrise, our team is very seasoned. We build teams around our residents to provide relationship-based care.

In my spare time, I love to travel, go to the beach, and spend time with family and friends.”

“I began my career 15 years ago as an accounting assistant at a Sunrise community in Lexington, KY. I have experience billing for independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing as well as managing our community’s financials. 

I take pride in helping our residents and their families understand how the billing process works (i.e., Medicare and secondary insurance).  Interacting with the residents and hearing their wonderful stories brings me joy.

Outside of work, I enjoy knitting baby hats, sewing, painting or enjoying a variety of other crafts.”
