“I’ve been so pleased and pleasantly surprised by the level of care and personal attention my mom has received from the staff at Brighton Gardens. When she arrived, she was not doing well at all. But the medical care, assistance with daily living, great food, and personal attention have made a world of positive difference in both her health and outlook.” – Ed W, son of Brighton Gardens of Dayton resident
“We initially chose Brighton Gardens of Washington Township because the staff recognizes the value of pets to their residents and welcomes them. We also liked the centrally-located living room. It made activities easy to locate and convenient to attend. There was more of a family-like environment which encouraged socialization. The staff were always quick to respond to Mom's needs.” – Paula L, daughter of Brighton Gardens of Dayton resident
“Mom was immediately welcomed into the community by staff and other residents. She made new friends and enjoyed some of her favorite activities: going to exercise class, musical programs, and having her nails and hair done. The open environment in the main room and dining room is always busy with things to do throughout the day. She looks forward to eating meals with some of her closest friends and always has a glass of wine with dinner.
The nurses, aides, and administrative staff have been wonderful with my mom. It is obvious that they know her and care about her. My mom likes them and worries about how hard they work. As she has aged and developed more health issues, they have adjusted right along with her.” – Mary B, daughter of Brighton Gardens of Dayton resident
"My mother is doing very well at the Brighton Gardens memory care neighborhood. The staff love her and say that she has the best sense of humor! If she's happy, then her sense of humor comes out. After some deterioration from dementia, she has regained the ability to transfer herself to and from her wheelchair—I know she likes the independence of being able to do that. I'm thankful to have Brighton Gardens taking care of her, especially since I live on the east coast." – Maryann Z, daughter of Brighton Gardens of Dayton resident
“As a resident, my wife is now experiencing many of the items mentioned during our introductory tours. We are very satisfied with their medication management including timely dispensing, handling of prescription refills, and giving us feedback. Care Managers have obvious experience and show thoroughness in their care, including the timely assistance with dressing and undressing, bathing and mealtime assistance, and special activities. The ratio of assigned Care Managers to residents and the way they support each other if a special need develops is great.
There’s an obvious effort by all Brighton Gardens staff members to develop a comfortable relationship with residents and family members. First names are used by everybody which develops a large family atmosphere. Life is easier knowing my wife is getting such excellent care and attention.” – Gary N, husband of Brighton Gardens of Dayton resident
