We’re expanding operations and welcoming brighter days.
"I have worked with Assisted Living residents since 2004 and have held various positions such as Regulatory Surveyor, Regional Director of Operations, Nursing Home Administrator, and Executive Director. Interacting with residents on a daily basis is by far the most rewarding job I have ever had because they are amazing individuals with fascinating stories that touch your life every day. I am proud to have dedicated my career to serving seniors and their families, and am committed to the Sunrise mission—to champion quality of life or all seniors.
In my spare time, I love volunteering for other organizations, sports (especially golf), and spending time with my family.”
"To say I have the best job in the world is an understatement. I instantly became family with residents and employees at Brighton Gardens of Westlake. Each day is like a new adventure in helping put smiles on our resident’s faces. It is a blessing to be able to be a helping hand to our seniors in their home. Our Sunrise Senior Living Community staff provides the opportunity to love and care for seniors during this season of their life. I am able to work with many amazing individuals who give their heart and soul to serving our residents. I am very grateful to be able to honor seniors in a time of need by sharing opportunities in a compassionate and loving manner. I enjoy being able to offer solutions that provides families comfort and peace of mind when choosing a home for their loved one.
I look forward to many years here at Brighton Gardens of Westlake."
Carol began her career here at Brighton Gardens of Westlake in 2001 as a care manager in our Reminiscence Neighborhood. During the course of her years here, she has taken on different roles throughout our community, and was delighted to take on the position of Assisted Living Coordinator in 2006.
“I have an amazing job here at Brighton Gardens of Westlake. My role as the Reminiscence Coordinator has the best of both worlds: I get to meet residents and families and help them with the transition to a new place, and I get to ensure we have a great team of care managers to provide the best possible care for our residents.
I think of residents, families and team members as my family. Sunrise has been my home for nearly 15 years and I love my job and believe in our company.”
William Malone says he feels the dining experience is a very important part of each resident’s day – a time for residents to enjoy good, nutritious food in the company of friends. He enjoys the opportunity to serve and spend time with each resident on a personal level.
“Sunrise is a great company to work for with strong core values - a company that stands by its mission,” William said.
