Our team members are truly what make our community “home”. We’re pleased to introduce you to a few of the team members who make Sunrise at Buckhead such a special place!
"I have been with Sunrise since 2008. Prior to becoming the Executive Director, I worked as an Assisted Living Coordinator, Reminiscence Coordinator, Job Coach and Mentor to Care Coordinators on boarding in the Georgia market. I am also a Certified Validation Worker, and Group Training Leader. I bring 17 years of collective experience in working with people with Developmental Disabilities and Alzheimer’s & Dementia. I enjoy helping residents shift to being engaged and happy in their new home. I strive to be successful with the residents I serve, but I cannot do it alone. It takes teamwork. My favorite part of my job is to stop to hear some of the history and wisdom from the residents. In my spare time, I love planning birthday parties and spending time with my two children."
"I have worked with Sunrise since 2017. Prior to coming to Sunrise, I was Director of Social Services at a Rehab/Nursing Home in Brookhaven for 16 years. My favorite part of my job is getting to know our residents and their families. I really enjoy showing them around our beautiful community and introducing them to our staff. The best part of working at Sunrise is working with our residents and making sure they receive the quality of life they deserve. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my two sons, two rescue cats and rescue dog, gardening, and movies."
"I joined the Sunrise team in 2018 and I bring with me great deal of healthcare experience. I've worked in ERs, NCU, Pediatrics, Skilled Facilities, Hospice, Drug Rehab, Psych, Children’s Crisis Centers, and much more. My most rewarding role was working with the families after 9/11. Each day, I ensure that our residents receive quality care by ensuring best practices are being upheld. The best part of working at Sunrise is feeling like you are part of a family. In your spare time, I love reading, traveling and spending time with my loved ones."
"I've been with Sunrise Senior Living since 2014. Prior to Sunrise, I was an Assistant Senior Daycare Center Manager for two years. Prior to that, I was a recreational specialist for three years. Activities have always been my forte because I specialize in personality assessment, psychology, habits & behaviors. The best part about working at Sunrise is that there are many skills I can learn from my teammates. In my spare time, I support charitable organizations, spend time with family, and travel when I can."
"I have been with Sunrise since 2005, beginning my career as a Wellness Nurse. I was then promoted to Reminiscence Coordinator. My previous experience comes from working as a Home Health LPN nurse. My favorite part of the job is interacting with residents and team members on a daily basis. The best part of working at Sunrise is being able to grow with the company and providing team members opportunities. In my spare time I work on interior designs and repurposing furniture."
"I have been working at Sunrise since 2008. I have passion working with seniors and I have been working in reminiscence for the last eight years. My favorite part of my job is providing care and knowing that I have made a difference in someone’s life. The best part working at Sunrise Senior living is seeing myself growing with the company and continuing to make difference in our residents' lives. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my family and friends and entertain."
"I have been with Sunrise since 2005 and before that was in the military. My favorite part of my job is the everyday challenges that I encounter and am able to resolve for the residents. The best part of working for Sunrise is getting to know the residents on a one on one basis. In my spare time, I enjoys spending time with my wife and kids."
