Meet some of the fantastic members of our team here at Sunrise at Ivey Ridge, GA.
"I actually sold girl scout cookies to Sunrise in Rockville, Maryland when I was in grade school. My grandmother, Helen had Alzheimer's Disease and lived with my family for many years & I've supported Alzheimer's events and fundraising for decades. I've been in sales and marketing since 2007 and throughout my career, I have been able to live my passion of helping others both personally and professionally.
I joined Sunrise at Ivey Ridge in 2020 and am proud to help seniors in the Atlanta area! My favorite part of Sunrise is helping residents and their families. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two rescue puppies."
"I have 29 years of experience working in the health care field hospitals, nursing homes, doctor's offices and assisted living communities.
My favorite part of working at Sunrise is knowing that we have provided each resident with quality care throughout their life. In my free time, I love shopping and watching YouTube."
"I joined the Sunrise team in 2017. Previously, I was Director of facilities at a large private school in Atlanta. I am a native of Georgia and live with my wife of over 24 years, and I have a 22 year old daughter.
Working at Sunrise is my dream job! I began working with seniors a very young age. My mother worked in nursing homes and home health. I loved going to work with her and helping the residents. I enjoyed hearing their stories and learning about their lives. In 1989, my grandfather was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. A couple days every week he would go to an Alzheimer’s day center. This is where I became involved with the Alzheimer’s association. In 1991, I started the first Alzheimer’s support group in Forsyth county at the age of 16. I volunteered at nursing homes and at the day center. I was fortunate to be invited to the Governor’s office for a proclamation signing for Alzheimer’s awareness month.
Serving the residents here at Sunrise is truly an honor for me."
“I have worked for Sunrise as a medication technician since 2003.
