Our dining services coordinator, Jacques Patou, is from France and offers our community a vast international culinary background. After studying in Paris he moved to Montreal and then later moved to Minneapolis to open the first French hotel, Sofitel. At Sunrise, he enjoys making French-style dishes as well as Beef Wellington and Orange Thai Chicken Salad which he says the residents love.
The most gratifying moments of his job is knowing all the residents are fed and satisfied. He also enjoys meeting with new residents to discuss their favorite dishes, which gives him the opportunity to stay connected to their resident's dining needs.
