We are pleased to introduce you to some of the team members who make our community a wonderful place to call home.
"I have been passionately working in senior care for almost 8 years. My career in senior care started in Chicago as a chaplain and then evolved into the executive director position with a faith based, non-profit community senior living community specializing in independent living, assisted living and memory care.
My family recently moved to Denver to pursue a career opportunity for my spouse and I was fortunate to find a home as an executive director with Sunrise at Orchard. I’m excited to start a new life here in Denver with my family and my opportunity to follow my calling at Sunrise at Orchard."
"I have been working in Senior Living since 2011. I stumbled across senior living and it has been a perfect fit ever since. I love working with families and residents. I love helping them discover all that Sunrise has to offer but most of all I love to get to know who they are and learn about their life experiences. When you live or work at Sunrise you become family on day 1.
My favorite part of working at Sunrise is that I love the feeling you get when you walk in the our community. We are all like family and it shows.
I grew up on my family farm in Montana with my parents, grandparents and great grandparents. I moved to Colorado in 2007. When I am not at Sunrise, I enjoy spending time in my home working in my garden or watching my chickens run around in my back yard. I love to travel to see new places and experience new cultures."
"I started with Sunrise as a care manger and then lead care manager until I was promoted to the ALC position.
The best part of working for Sunrise is they treat us like family and spend time to truly get to know us.
In my spare time, I am busy spending time with my son & many fur babies, I enjoy the outdoors and spend most weekends out on the trails!"
"I started at Sunrise of Pinehurst as a Lead Care Manager, and then got offered the opportunity to transfer to Sunrise of Orchard as the Reminiscence Coordinator.
My favorite part of working at Sunrise is that I love being able to come to work every day and feel like I am home, because that is the way the residents and team members make me feel. We look at it as the second paycheck, as we create these wonderful relationships with everyone here at Sunrise
In my spare time, I love to spend time with my three pups. I have 2 labradoodles and an Old English Sheepdog. I love taking them on hikes (separately of course), because they will drag me down the mountain. I also enjoy spending time with my husband."
In my free time, I am trying to keep up with my 3 teenagers and husband in which I completely adore! We enjoy snowboarding and just having fun together. I look forward to meeting you and your family!"
Charlie Brown is part Welsh Corgi and an all-out charmer who spends most of his time in the Reminiscence neighborhood cuddling with residents. He came to us from the Wyoming Dachshund and Corgi Rescue. Charlie enjoys laying in the sun, greeting people, and going for walks with the residents and team members.
