Sunrise at Orchard

Meet the Sunrise at Orchard Team

We are pleased to introduce you to some of the team members who make our community a wonderful place to call home.

danielle hauschDanielle Oehrlein

Executive Director

“To be able to work with residents and families on a daily basis is a rewarding opportunity! I feel truly blessed to be in a position to help make a difference and ensure our residents live a life of quality.”

After my mother became ill eight years ago and placed in a skilled nursing setting, I was determined to begin a career in long term care. Sunrise has given me the opportunity to grow professional by supporting me initially as an Associate Executive Director and throughout my time completing the Executive Director in Training program. I’m proud to say I now serve as the Executive Director at Sunrise at Orchard!"

Resident Care Director

"I joined the Sunrise at Orchard Team in July of 2016, as the Resident Care Director. I support the Wellness Team, and have many years of experience as a registered nurse.

My husband and I moved to Colorado in 2000, and are happy to call Castle Rock our home. We enjoy traveling, gardening, bird watching, and outdoor barbeques with family and friends.

As the Resident Care Director, I get to meet with residents in their homes, or a Rehab and sometimes in the hospital – before they make their move into our community. It makes me happy to observe a new resident when they move in to Sunrise as they settle into this chapter of their lives. Their quality of life improves as they make new friends, try a new activity or exercise, or maybe pursue a hobby they haven’t had time for. It’s important for residents to be around their peers, and Sunrise is the place for that!

My mottos is this…..'There is an easy answer to everything, let’s not make life too hard!'"

Reminiscence Coordinator

"I have worked in the senior living industry since 2001 in one form or another but found my home with Alzheimer's and dementia residents. My great grandmother, Josephine, was afflicted with dementia when I was five years old. My large, close Italian family visited my great grandma, Josephine, often in her senior community. During my visits, I spent time with other residents with little to no visitors trying to bring a smile to their face or a twinkle to their eye. From here is where I found my passion.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, reading, going to the park and going on new adventures."

Dining Service Coordinator

“I’ve been with Sunrise since 2013 and I still love meeting our residents’ needs and requests, big and small. I truly believe that when you do what you love and receive praise, it’s not a job or career - it becomes a labor of love. My motto? If we have it in house, you can have it - even if it’s not on the menu! Having worked in the industry, Sunrise just “gets it.” Here we put our residents’ satisfaction first.”
