At Sunrise of Pinehurst, Kenneth May serves as our dining services coordinator. With a culinary school background and a passion for serving seniors, Kenneth naturally found his place at our community.
His favorite cooking technique is smoking and he uses it on a variety of fresh seafood, including salmon. Every chef has his preferred ingredient to work with and Kenneth loves fresh garlic "because it can really bring out the flavors in other ingredients," he says.
His passion for creating a pleasant dining experience goes beyond the kitchen – he loves seeing how residents react to his cooking. "I feel gratified when I can make our residents happy," he says. "Seeing them smile and enjoying their meals is the best part of my day. I cook for them just like I would for my wife and son at home!"
