At Sunrise at Siegen, we know how important the dining experience is to our residents and we strive to ensure satisfaction for our residents and their loved ones.
Each month, we host themed family nights where our entire community gets together and enjoys delicious food and drinks prepared by our Dining team. These functions are a popular event at our community and always fill up fast! We also have a number of family members that regularly dine in our community, which we encourage.
Seafood dishes are some of our residents most requested meals, particularly Fried Catfish and Shrimp Fettuccine. We also use chicken in many of meals and prepare it in a variety of fashions including fried, baked, BBQ, casseroles, pastas and salad. We know that variety is key and we are always keeping it interesting!
Our Dining services coordinator, Mike Smith, is a graduate of the Culinary Arts program at Louisiana Regional Technical College. He is also the former executive chef of a number of restaurants including Bear Corners Restaurant and The Bluffs on Thompson Creek Country Club.
