We’re pleased to introduce you to some of the members of our experienced team of serving hearts here at Sunrise at West Essex, NJ.
I have worked with Sunrise for just over 5 years. I started as a Reminiscence Coordinator, then was promoted to Associate Executive Director. In November 2017 I became the Executive Director in West Essex. My favorite part about being an ED is that each day is different from the next. I’m able to interact with everyone in the community and am constantly kept busy, which I love! The best part about working for Sunrise is there is no shortage of growth opportunities. It also gives me the flexibility I need to balance my work-home life. When I’m not working, I enjoy going out to dinner with family & friends and going to the beach.
I have worked with Sunrise for 5 years. I started as a concierge in Brighton Garden of Saddle River. In the fall of 2017 I entered the DCIT program. I later graduated and took on the role of Assisted living Coordinator in West Essex. Interacting with the residents and family members is my favorite part of working for Sunrise. To step away from the office and have a conversation or even to play bingo with the residents truly brings me great joy.
The best part of Sunrise is getting a chance to truly champion the quality of life for Seniors. It’s not easy to hear of a problem with your department or something not being done how it is supposed to. The best part of working here is being able to play a role in solving the issues as they come along.
In my spare time I love to spend time with my family and my church youth group. The greatest gift you can give anyone is your presence, whether its physically , mentally or spiritually so I love to give that awesome gift to my family and youth group.
I started working for Sunrise 5 1/2 years ago in our Basking Ridge community. I love working with seniors each day and I appreciate the camaraderie I find within my team at West Essex. When I’m not working I enjoy traveling & boating.
