"I have worked in the healthcare industry since graduating from LSU in 1994.
In addition to my 5 years of long term care experience, I have worked in Pharmaceutical sales, Home Health, and Behavioral Health.
I enjoy working at Sunrise because it allows me to enhance the quality of life for seniors through our superior care, programming and dining services."
"I began my journey with Sunrise in 2019 as a life enrichment manager and a concierge. I am now thrilled to connect residents and families to Sunrise as an Associate Director of Sales! The most exciting part of my role here at Sunrise is welcoming residents to their new home. In my spare time, I enjoy performing music and shopping!"
"I have been with Sunrise since 2013. I first started out as a volunteer where I learned that I really enjoyed working with the residents. I decided to take on the role of a care manager while working on my Bachelor’s at LSU. Once I completed my degree, I moved into the maintenance department while I worked on my Master’s where I was studying relationships of families and how they dealt with dementia along the process. After completing my Master’s, I took on the current role I am in now as the Business Office Coordinator.
I really enjoy being able to make a difference in other people’s lives, especially our residents’. At Sunrise, we aren’t just one position; we all take on the responsibility to take care of our residents. I have been able to meet so many different people along my journey with Sunrise. Sunrise offers a chance to meet people with amazing stories.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling to different places, going to the dog park, and watching movies."
“I have been with Sunrise since 2012 and was previously the concierge before taking on this new role. I recently Southeastern Louisiana University.
My favorite part of my job is seeing the residents smile. Being the AVC gives me the opportunity to have a lot of fun with the residents. I really enjoy seeing their faces light up when we try something new or just hang out and cut up.
The best part of working at Sunrise is the family atmosphere. It’s so nice to come to work and be able to laugh and have fun with residents and coworkers.
Outside of work, I coach middle school volleyball, play beach volleyball, and hang out with my family and friends.”
“Before joining the Sunrise of Baton Rouge Team nearly five years ago, I was the Assistant Director of Nursing at Sage Rehab Hospital, for home and telemetry nurses.
At Sunrise, there is a fun atmosphere. I love interacting with our residents and my fellow team members.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and watching sports, especially football.”
“Prior to joining the Sunrise team, I worked in hotels, country clubs and retirement communities.
I love the rewarding feeling I get by taking care of seniors who need help and appreciate your company. I love what I do!
Outside of work, I enjoy fishing and traveling to see new places.”
"Before Sunrise, I was a director of maintenance at Highland Place Nursing for 8 years. I have been in the maintenance field for over 11 years. I love hearing from the residents about how much they appreciate when I fix things for them. It brings a smile to my face.
In my free time, I enjoy playing golf and spending time with my wife and two daughters."
