The dining team at Sunrise of Bloomfield Hills, MI, celebrates holidays in a way that allows for double the fun! We plan our community holiday celebrations a few days before the actually date, encouraging residents to have loved ones visit for the day and still be available on the holiday.
We also use the holidays as opportunities for fun social events. For example, on Memorial Day, we enjoy barbequed food such as chicken, burgers, hot dogs and roasted corn. During winter holidays we celebrate with turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, gravy, sweet potatoes, green beans and corn bread.
At Sunrise of Bloomfield Hills, we believe in creating dishes that are both healthy and tasty, keeping in mind each individual’s preferences and dietary needs. The most requested items on our menu are breakfast foods like pancakes and waffles, as well as meatloaf, turkey and chicken or turkey pot pies.
This is all made possible with the culinary expertise of Milford, D. Schofield, our dining services coordinator. Though his first love was baking, after learning all the different aspects of the kitchen, he knows he has definitely pursued the right career with Sunrise! We’ve had the pleasure of his cooking for 10 years and counting here at Sunrise of Bloomfield Hills, MI.
