We’re welcoming brighter days while continuing to promote health and safety.
"Prior to Sunrise, I worked in a regional operations capacity for a Neurorehabilitation full-service location. I started my career in human services at a residential camp for children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities. My undergraduate degree is in behavioral science and psychology with my graduate work in health services administration.
My favorite part of Sunrise is team collaboration, including residents and families- to make the golden years the BEST.
When I am not at Sunrise, I am with my wife Heidi, and our two children Isaac (4) and Vera (1). We enjoy swimming, biking, and snuggles."
"I started my career in Home Infusion and Hospice and then moved into Hospital and Emergency Room Expertise. I was then a Nursing Home Administrator before I started my current role as a Registered Nurse, BSN and MSN.
My favorite part of working at Sunrise is the residents - I love their humor and their stories. It is my privilege to care for this generation.
I enjoy time with my grandchildren. Love to travel. I like to read. I garden and i am a great cook and baker. I love making ribs for the employees every year. I am currently writing two books. One on elderly women. And the other is on disadvantaged children and genetic experimentation. I have also written a book on my hospice experience titled: "This is Kathy the Hospice Nurse How Can I Help You". I also write poetry and i love to play the piano."
"Prior to Sunrise, I worked in the Plumbing, Electrical and Carpentry industries.
My favorite part of working at Sunrise is I love the residents and learning about their life. I just love people.
In my spare time, I am busy completing my wife's "Honey-Do-List". I love working on my home projects."
