Executive Director

"I began my career journey with Sunrise in 2001 as a Director of Sales at the first Sunrise in Sacramento. Following my passion for seniors, I decided to become an executive director in 2003 and have enjoyed that role ever since. I am very excited and honored to be part of the Sunrise of Carmichael community, since memory care has always been a focus in my career and holds a special place in my heart.

I have three wonderful children whom I like to spend time with and enjoy anything to do with the ocean and hanging out at the beach."

"Prior to my time at Sunrise, I was a real estate agent, but I started my career managing different food and beverage establishments like Jamba Juice, Starbucks, and Noah's Bagel. 

In my spare time, I love gardening and getting to the beach whenever I can; it's always a great time with my son and daughter!"

"I have over 20 years of experience in manufacturing in management positions and over 10 years of senior living experience prior to being a coordinator. My favorite part of Sunrise is the team members and the community environment.

In my spare time, I enjoy going to the movies and spending time with my family and my dog."

Reminiscence Coordinator

"I have been with Sunrise since 2005.  I started as a Lead Care Manager and Life Enrichment Manager prior to taking on the Reminiscence Coordinator role at Sunrise of Sacramento in 2013. I am now the Reminiscence Coordinator here at Sunrise of Carmichael and couldn't be happier! My favorite part of Sunrise is the community environment and the team members. 

In my spare time, I like to travel, try different foods, read, and take walks. I also like to spent quality time with family and friends."

Business Office Coordinator

"I worked as an Avon representative and Unit Leader for 7 years while raising kids. I also worked for Homestead Senior Care for 7 years prior to coming to Sunrise. I was a Care Manager, Office Assistant, Concierge and now Business Office Coordinator.

In my spare time, I enjoy yoga, walking, reading, cooking, gardening, and spending time with my adult children."

Dining Services Coordinator

"I have 20 years of experience in dining where most of my time was spent as Head Chef for the City of Fremont in the Bay Area. This was one of the few cities that had on-site Chefs for their senior center and I managed the meal program for the city.

In my spare time, I like to spend time with my kids, go to concerts, and travel."

"My background is in Mechanical Electrical Technology. My favorite part about working at Sunrise is the Sunrise Mission.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and traveling to different cities. I believe in the sacred value of human life. Working here gives me the chance to take part in our residents’ collective journey, for which I’m truly grateful."
