Meet the Sunrise of Danville Team

Our team is devoted to our residents and their families. We are pleased to introduce you to a few of the people who make our community so special.

Caroline Frangieh

Executive Director

Caroline Frangieh

"I was born in the great city of San Francisco and raised in Walnut Creek, where I currently reside. I have one older sister who is married with two adorable boys. I have a rather large family located all over the United States as well as around the world in places such as Lebanon, France, Jordan, Canada and Jerusalem. I am of Middle Eastern descent and speak Arabic, English and a little French. In my free time, I enjoy martial arts, spending time with family and friends, and working with charities. I have been involved with the Make-A-Wish Foundation as well as the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Foundation for many years. It has been an amazing experience and they have taught me so much.

My background in the healthcare industry includes strong operational experience, multi-disciplinary team management, ability to interface with public agencies, and project management. I understand that compassion, kindness and a commitment to serving others is nothing short of absolute! I am honored to be a part of the Sunrise family for the past four years."

“I have been with Sunrise for 1 year and 7 months. Previously, Iworked for Manor Care Skilled Nursing Facility as RN Supervisor.

My favorite part of my job is being part of a team that ensures overall well-being of residents, and seeing them thrive physically, emotionally, & mentally. I love being at Sunrise because every day I get to see residents smile, have fun, and have a great quality of life.

In my spare time I like to spend quality time with my family, meet & catch up with friends, read mystery books, and watch romance movies."

Diane BlakeDiane Blake

Director of Sales

"I joined Sunrise as Associate Director of Sales in October of 2017. My background in sales and marketing began many years ago with Baxter Healthcare. More recently I helped start a veterinary practice in the Walnut Creek area from the ground up.

Since joining Sunrise I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the residents and their families, the team members and helping new families find the perfect place for their loved ones. There are so many amazing things about Sunrise but one of my favorites is no day is the same and every day when I go home I feel like I am making a difference along with Sunrise.   

When I’m not working I love to travel to see my kids who live scattered about the country.  I also enjoy reading, hiking, needlepoint and spending time with my boyfriend."

Assisted Living Coordinator

" I have worked at Sunrise for the last 6 years. My favorite part of my job is championing the lives of all seniors. I love working with them to make their days brighter. I enjoy partnering with families to care for their loved ones. I consider my job a blessing.  I have recently begun the Executive Director in Training (E.D.I.T) and look forward to completing this program and continuing my career with Sunrise. I believe in the Sunrise Mission. They do champion the quality of life for all seniors. They are the Best of the Best. JD Powers and associates award winning company. The quality of care we provide.

In my spare time, I love going on vacations with my husband and children. I love to go dancing and spend time at the beach

Graciela Conseco RuizGraciela

Reminiscence Coordinator

Graciela has been serving seniors since 2003, it was then when she realized her love for seniors. With her passion of learning Graciela soon advanced to a management role at Sunrise. In 2016 Graciela joined the Sunrise of Oakland Hills community as the Assisted Living Coordinator. While working in this role she quickly realized her calling; to serve residents with memory care needs. In February of 2018 Graciela transferred to Sunrise of Danville as the Reminiscence Coordinator.

It’s difficult for her to choose just one thing she loves about this line of work and working for Sunrise but one of the top perks is the amazing relationships she is able to form with the families and residents while they reside at Sunrise. 

Graciela lives in San Leandro, CA with her husband and three children, she enjoys spending quality time with them.

Activities and Volunteer Coordinator

"I have worked for Sunrise Senior Living of Danville for over nine years. I had done my certified nurse’s assistant (CNA) training at a nursing home in Livermore a few years before starting at Sunrise and knew that I wanted to work in the geriatrics field. 

I began at Sunrise as a care manager for the Assisted Living neighborhood then moved over to the Reminiscence neighborhood. Shortly after I was approached by our  former Health Care Coordinator who asked if I would be interested in becoming a Medication Manager. For the next three years I was on the Medication team. Though I enjoyed being a Medication Manager another opportunity presented itself when our full time concierge position became available. While I was the concierge I observed the Activities Coordinator and all  she did with the residents. I even helped her out whenever possible. A few years later her position became available and thanks to her guidance and encouragement I applied for it. I am so happy that Sunrise of Danville and our former Executive Director took a chance on me and gave me the opportunity as the Activities and Volunteer Coordinator. I have been doing activities for four years now and still love every minute of it!"

Business Office Coordinator

"I started working for Sunrise in March of 2017, but have been in the RCFE field for 8 years. My favorite part of my job is being able to interact with all of the residents, their families, and all of my amazing team members. The best part of working at Sunrise is being part of the Sunrise culture and staying true to our mission 'to champion quality of life for all seniors.' 

In my spare time I like to spend time with my wife and 2  year old daughter and 8 month old son."

Dining Services Coordinator

"I have been working for Sunrise for the last 8 Years. Previously I have worked for a variety of operations including high end, high volume kitchens.

My favorite part of my job is my daily interactions with residents. The best part of working at Sunrise is the great team I have to work with.

In my spare time I like getting outside and enjoying nature with my friends, family, and dog."
