"I've worked for Sunrise for 17 years - 2 years as a Reminiscence Coordinator, 13 years as an Executive Director and 2 years as an Area Sales Manager.

My favorite part of my job is meeting new residents, families and team members. I enjoy hearing about our resident’s life stories and helping them continue to live a life with meaning and purpose. I’m thankful to my team members who work so hard to create a caring and engaging home for our residents.

Sunrise has a very special culture and that’s what has kept me working with this organization for so many years. We celebrate our diversity and offer a plethora of opportunities for growth and development to our frontline staff. I enjoy helping my fellow team members grow within the organization.

When I'm not at Sunrise, I enjoy playing with my 7-year-old granddaughter and taking my dog Daisy for walks in the neighborhood. I also like to swim, go for long walks and I’m trying new recipes to become a better cook!"

"I joined Sunrise of Franklin Lakes at the start of 2021. For the six years prior, I was Director of Sales and Marketing for another Assisted Living Community in Bergen County. Throughout my career I have dedicated myself in supporting children, families and seniors.

My favorite part of my position is discovering the needs of the residents and families and helping them to navigate senior living. I enjoy being a resource for our families by connecting with professionals who have a like-minded goal of helping seniors live their best life.

The best thing about working at Sunrise is being around dedicated senior living professionals who have the best interest of the residents and families at heart. The leadership team is warm and welcoming and provides many tools for success.

Outside of the community, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends - many who live in New England where I love to visit."

"I have been with Sunrise since March of 2018. My favorite part of my job is that I love helping families and our new residents. The decision to come to Assisted Living can be a big challenge for not only the resident but the family as well. I am usually the first introduction and it is important to be empathic and trustworthy to guide them in their decision making.

The best part of working at Sunrise is guiding potential residents and their loved ones through the decision to move into our community – a decision that is as emotionally challenging as it is rewarding! I get to know the resident and love to see how Sunrise positively impacts their lives and the wonderful thing is that I play a part in that.

In my spare time, I love to laugh and be with my family and friends! I love to do outdoor activities especially taking brisk walks around the lake where I live!"
