“I have worked with Sunrise for 18 years. I have served in multiple positions including Assisted Living Coordinator and Reminiscence Coordinator. I love that I have the ability to interact with our residents, family members and team members on a daily basis, and hopefully make a difference in their lives. 

The best part of working at Sunrise is the ongoing commitment to our mission. That mission, and how it is fulfilled in our community every day, is what has kept me with Sunrise for so many years.

When I’m not working, my husband and I enjoy playing golf together. I am also an avid reader of mysteries.”

"I have worked for Sunrise since 2015. My career with Sunrise began after receiving my bachelor’s degree in Family and Human Services where I found my passion for working with seniors. I started as a Life Enrichment Manager, then grew to joining the sales team to help families find the best community for their loved ones.

Although I no longer work directly with residents, my favorite part of my job is knowing I am helping a family to find a new place for their loved one to call home. The best thing about working for Sunrise is how one can see our team members truly believe in our mission to Champion Quality of Life for All Seniors.

When I am not busy at work helping families or spending time with residents, you can find me outside playing with my puppy, traveling on the weekends, or spending time with my family."

“I have been with Sunrise for more than six years. Prior to my current position, I worked as a care manager, and was then promoted to lead care manager/medication technician.

My favorite part of my job is listening to our residents and families, knowing full well that I am able to make a positive impact in their lives. I feel lucky that I get to work with a wonderful set of team members who go above and beyond to support one another.

In my spare time, I like to exercise or visit friends.”

“I’ve worked at Sunrise for 18 and a half years. I have held many positions, including activities assistant, lead concierge, healthcare admissions assistant, sales associate, accounting assistant and business manager. 

I really enjoy visiting with residents and listening to stories about their lives. I love making our residents smile by planning special events, such as the Summer of Sunrise and our Veteran’s Day Flag Ceremony. 

Throughout the years, Sunrise has given me the opportunity to grow and develop my natural talents. I appreciate all the things I have learned from our residents and team members.  I use this knowledge to help team members grow professionally, and I enjoy being a positive mentor for them. 

In my spare time, I am a volunteer member for Fox Company 128th BSB Maryland Army National Guard, FRG (Family Readiness Group).  I also volunteer as the Vice President of the Executive Board of the PTSA at Linganore High School. I love to travel. I enjoy various outdoor activities such as skiing, gardening, horseback riding, biking and running.
