“I joined the team at Sunrise in 2003 as a business manager. After several promotions, I served as executive director at Sunrise of Roseville for nine years before recently transferring to Sunrise of Golden Valley. In addition to acting as a 1:1 trainer and a GS:3 Leadership trainer, I have mentored many of my team members to achieve Sunrise coordinator positions.
My role as Executive Director enables me to impact Sunrise residents, families, and my team. I’m proud to work at Sunrise because the company continuously evolves in its methods in caring for seniors. We are people caring for people; not just employees seeking monetary gain.
My mother was part of the Sunrise family as well, serving as a Sunrise wellness nurse for 26 years.

I originally held the Life Enrichment Manager position for more than four years and then transitioned into the role of business office coordinator. I am proud to have won the company-wide Joy in Service Award on behalf of Sunrise of Golden Valley in 2015.
I love working with the residents at Sunrise of Golden Valley each day! I feel I am able to make a difference in our residents’ daily lives and enjoy nurturing their spirits any opportunity I can get. I believe in the Sunrise mission and how we care for seniors who decide to call Sunrise their home.”
