Meet some of the exceptional members of our team here at Sunrise of Granite Run, PA. 


Eileen Gross

Executive Director

“I have been with Sunrise for just over three years and have served in many positions, including Reminiscence Coordinator, Terrace Club Coordinator and Executive Director. Prior to working at Sunrise, I was a program director of an adult day care program where the majority of our participants had dementia.  I graduated with my master’s degree in public health and did my senior thesis on dementia and caregiver stress. 

At Sunrise, my residents bring purpose to my days.  I enjoy getting to know them, hearing their life stories and seeing them happy. My team at Granite Run is the most caring, compassionate group of people that I have had the pleasure of working with.  

Outside of Sunrise, I enjoy spending time with my 11-month-old son, Ben; my husband, Andy; and our dog, Roxie.  We enjoy spending time outdoors and cooking.

“My favorite part of my job is being helping families in need by providing a safe, secure home for their loved ones. I enjoy interacting with our residents, their families and my team members on a daily basis. In addition, I love our house dog, Gino! 

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, reading and spending time with my dogs and family.”

“I joined the Sunrise of Granite Run team four years ago. I enjoy interacting with the residents. It’s important to me to keep both our residents and their families happy.  
At Sunrise, everyone works together to get the job done. It is a very flexible organization and provides many opportunities for growth. Most of all, it is the love and care we provide for our residents that makes me happy.

In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, shop and read.”

“I have worked for Sunrise for since April 2007.  I began my career as the Activities and Volunteer Coordinator and took on the Business Office Coordinator role in February 2016.
I enjoy working with our residents and their families, my fellow team members and our pets here at Sunrise of Granite Run.

In my spare time, I like to read, spend time with family and friends, and complete D.I.Y. projects around my house.”

Activities and Volunteer Coordinator

“I have worked with Sunrise for seven years. Prior to joining Sunrise, I planned large volunteer events, such as the Relay for Life and other fundraisers. 

I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with our residents and help make their lives as enjoyable and meaningful as possible. If something I’ve planned puts a smile on someone’s face - even for a second - it is worth it. I love when a resident continues to talk about an event or moment in time for days or even weeks after the fact. 

At Sunrise, we have a dedication to the residents’ overall quality of life. I love that I have the flexibility to be creative with the types of activities I plan. Sunrise embraces each resident’s individuality and asks team members to use their own strengths to complement the lifestyle our residents are used to and deserve. 

Outside of work, I spend a lot of time with my 6-year-old son. We also have a Rottweiler/Husky mix who loves to be outside and go for walks. I love to be with my family and friends, and am always hosting meals at my house. I am always working on some type of craft project from candle making, to scrap booking. I really like to keep busy.”
