"I have worked with Sunrise Senior Living for 4 years. I have been in the Healthcare Field for over 25 years, 10 of those years in Assisted Living.

My favorite part of my job is the extraordinary people I work with every day, our residents, their families, and team members. I feel honored to be able to share each day with them.

The best part about working at Sunrise is carrying out the mission of Sunrise Senior Living: "To Champion Quality of Life for all Seniors". With Sunrise, that mission is not just words, it is our priority.

In my spare time, I love to travel. My favorite locations so far are Italy and Switzerland, and I look forward to finding more!"

"I have worked at Sunrise Senior Living since 2009. I began my career as the Life Enrichment Manager in our Reminiscence neighborhood, then went on to become the Activity & Volunteer Coordinator. I chose the path of Director of Sales to bring all of the wonderful experiences I had with the residents to families looking to move their loved ones here. Sunrise has truly become my second home and family.

In my spare time, I love being in my garden and spending time with my husband and children."

"I have worked at Sunrise since 2016. Prior to this, I was a Sales & Marketing Director in the hospitality industry.

My favorite part of the job is to meet with families and genuinely hear their circumstances in order to guide them towards a positive transition to Sunrise.

The best part of working at Sunrise of Huntington is the wonderful support and team member camaraderie, the positive energy in seeing the activities and celebrations that are thoughtfully prepared for our residents each day and to know that collectively, we are all doing our part to champion the quality of life for all seniors.

In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family and friends, shopping, baking and crafting."

Assisted Living Coordinator

"I have been with Sunrise for two years. Prior to working for Sunrise, I worked for several years as a Case Manager and an Executive Director at an Enhanced Assisted Living Community.

My favorite part of my job as an Assisted Living Coordinator is seeing the effect we have on our seniors and their families every day. The relationships we make with each resident, from both front-line team members to our community coordinators and director; the entire community is involved in impacting our resident’s days in Sunrise.

The best part of working for Sunrise is the feeling you get being in the community. It is unlike any other community I have worked in before. The comradery and compassion that is present while working. It is exciting to work with a group who shares a common goal, championing the life of our seniors.

In my spare time, I like to stay very active. I play semi-professional rugby for multiple teams, one based right on Long Island. I enjoy challenging myself with different physical activities as well such as CrossFit and obstacle races. In my down time I like to spend time with my family and friends."

Reminiscence Coordinator

"I have worked at Sunrise for two years. Prior to Sunrise, I predominantly worked with people with dementia and people with psychiatric illness, both as a department head and as a Certified Recreation Therapist.

My favorite part of the job is really giving my residents a purpose. What may seem insignificant to one person, really means the world to another. I enjoy helping my residents feel joy in finding their purpose.

The best part about working at Sunrise is that it truly feels like family. Whether you’re a resident, family member or team member, you feel like a valued member of one big community.

In my spare time, aside from enjoying my kids, I enjoy the 3 C’s – Camping, Crocheting and Curling (yes, that odd Olympic sport)!"

"I am new to the Sunrise Team. Prior to joining Sunrise, I worked in a Skilled Nursing home as a Recreation Therapist while completing my degree in Therapeutic Recreation.

My favorite part of my job is being able to bring a smile to each resident as well as enriching their quality of life with activities and community outings.

The best part of working for sunrise is the positive, warm atmosphere. Being new to the Sunrise Team, I have been welcomed with open arms to learn and grow with such a rewarding company.

In my spare time, I enjoy being outside, dancing and going to the beach. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends as well as volunteering with local organizations."

"I have worked with Sunrise since January 2017. Prior to joining Sunrise, I held various roles in HR and Payroll.

My favorite part of my job is being able to see the residents enjoy a quality of life with the Sunrise team members supporting them along the way.

The best part of working at Sunrise is the warmth and family atmosphere you feel the moment you enter a Community. It is truly rewarding to be part of such a positive and caring organization.

In my spare time, I love to read and spend time with family and friends. I enjoy spending time at the beach, going to different restaurants and walking around and shopping in the small towns and villages of Long Island."

"I have worked at Sunrise for eight wonderful years. Prior to working at Sunrise, I completed home remodeling projects.

My favorite part of my job is working with the Residents. I enjoy helping them and making them smile, knowing I make a difference in their day.

In my spare time, I enjoy house renovations, golf, fishing and going on vacation. The American dream."
