We’re welcoming brighter days while continuing to promote health and safety.
"My name is Diana Wiese and I have been the Executive Director here at Sunrise of Jackson since January 2019. Prior to this role, I proudly served as the Business Office Coordinator in this building, as well as Sunrise of Marlboro. I grew up locally, here in Jackson, and married my high school sweetheart. Now, 17 years later, we are raising our 4 beautiful children here in Jackson. When I’m not in the community, I enjoy gardening and spending time with my children. I am very passionate about working alongside our dedicated group of team members to help nurture the lives of our residents by enhancing their quality of life."
"I started working for Sunrise of Marlboro as a Care Manager then became a Lead Care Manager. I switched gears and worked as the Life Enrichment Manager for the Reminiscence neighborhood. I transferred to Sunrise of Jackson when there was an opening for an Activities Assistant. I had the opportunity to apply for the Activities Coordinator position, which is where I am at today. Prior to working for Sunrise, I worked for an organization called SEARCH. I worked solely with Autistic Individuals in an day program and group home setting. I was in a management position and stayed with this organization for 12 years before joining the Sunrise family.
I have a well-rounded background, which helps me to be more receptive to the needs of our residents here at Sunrise. I love working with our residents and feel like I wear many hats for them. I am their advocate, instructor, teacher and most importantly, their friend. The joy, wisdom, and laughter I receive from them on a daily basis makes each one of my days brighter. I am mother of three and an incredibly proud grandmother. I am blessed to still have my mother and father in my life and come from a truly loving family."
"To be able to have a career that is fulfilling and fun is to be blessed. I have been with Sunrise for over 6 years and have enjoyed every bit of my time. I have been able to build relationships with residents and their families that transcends past the walls of the community.
I live in Bradley Beach and enjoy long walks on the boardwalk. I love watching soccer and am a big Manchester United fan."
"I joined the Sunrise family in November 2011 as Sunrise of Wall’s Life Enrichment Manager and within eight months, ascended to Activities and Volunteer Coordinator, a position I held for several years. I was ever-so blessed to have formed many strong bonds through my wild collection of programs including line dance classes, history and travel presentations, and my “Famous Faces” show just to name a few. In search of additional career growth and purpose, I transitioned to Reminiscence Coordinator in our Wall community in November 2018; two years later, I accepted a transfer to Jackson in the same role and subsequently became a Job Coach. Thank you for allowing and trusting me to serve you and your loved ones!
Outside the community doors, I partake in weekly tennis and pickleball, am an avid WWF/WWE pro-wrestling fanatic, have jumped out of multiple (and perfectly functional) airplanes, and volunteer as an after-school gym teacher on Friday nights."
