“I have worked at Sunrise since 2013. I started as a cook at Sunrise at Five Forks, GA. Prior to joining Sunrise, I spent eight years as a pastry chef. My favorite part of my job is helping families through the aging process and seeing the smiles on our residents' faces each day.
In my spare time, I enjoy anything related to music. I adore college football (go Dawgs); fall is my favorite time of year. I also enjoy being outdoors with my three dogs: Delilah, Bogie, and Bacall.”

My favorite part of my job is providing solutions for families in crisis. When I see the relief on their faces on move-in day, I know that I have done my job. My favorite part of my job is having the opportunity to impact the quality of life for our residents and their families. At Sunrise, I am part of a supportive team. We all benefit from the training that Sunrise offers.
When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending my spare time with my son and our dog."

“I began my career with Sunrise in July of 2012. I enjoy the many moving parts that go into creating my residents' smiles.
I love working at Sunrise because each day is pleasant and different with an underlying constant that I will be surrounded by wonderful people who I look forward to seeing every day. The positive camaraderie and atmosphere of my community is so much fun. I enjoy every single individual that makes us a community: the residents, family members, volunteers, and coworkers. It's a family.
When I am not having fun at work, I greatly enjoy having fun with my family. Chalk, books, trains, bubble baths, and dance parties are some of our favorites, with my two active toddlers. But I have to say that I do love it when my home family joins my work family and we are all dancing together at a Sunrise Family & Friends event!”

I love helping my residents be safe and comfortable. The residents make me feel so appreciated, and that makes my role really rewarding.
I have three granddaughters who keep me busy outside of work. I also love building with wood.”
