“My career has grown from lead concierge to activities and volunteer coordinator to now the Executive Director here at Sunrise of Leesburg. I have had the pleasure of getting to know so many residents during this time and I am a better person for it.
I am so proud to work with the best team members in the business! People who embody the Sunrise Principles of Service, and work together to help bring our seniors meaningful and pleasant days. You can feel the love and sense of family when you walk into our historic home.
When I am not in the community, I enjoy spending time making and enjoying good food with family and friends!”
“After graduating from James Madison University, I began my sales career with Sunrise Senior Living. I have been here at historic Sunrise of Leesburg since April 2017.
One of my favorite things about coming to work every day is the feeling of family.
I never had the opportunity to know my own grandparents, so in a way the resident’s fill that place in my heart. I especially love to see the looks on their faces when they see me bringing Duke (my black lab) in to visit them.
As the Director of Sales, I really feel a sense of accomplishment when I am able to help people navigate the sometimes stressful search into assisted living and am elated when the team and I successfully help their loved one call Sunrise of Leesburg home.
In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering at my local animal shelter, hiking, and going to the beach.”
“I started my career as a nurse in the Army nearly 22 years ago. I spent the first 18 years in the long-term care, hospital and skilled nursing settings prior to joining the Sunrise team.
As the Resident Care Director here at Sunrise of Leesburg, I truly enjoy engaging with residents and spending one on one time them. My favorite principle of service is “Celebrating Individuality” - it fills me with a sense of pride working with a team whose goal it is to make this and our other principles a reality for our residents.
When I’m at home, I enjoy spending time with my son playing video games and going to the water parks.”
"My favorite part of every day is putting a smile on our resident’s faces!
I am currently going to school for my LPN license and eventually want to earn my RN degree. I look forward to the future and growing within Sunrise.
When I am not working to brighten up my residents’ days, I like to exercise, especially running the beautiful Virginia trails. I enjoy dancing too!”
