"At Sunrise, our residents and our team members are all like family, and Sunrise of Madison is no exception to this. Not only am I fortunate to have the opportunity to spend each workday in an environment that is like a second home to me, but it’s a privilege each morning for me to enter the home of all of our residents as I come to work. Not many people get to spend their time on a daily basis conversing with, helping, and learning from some of the most experienced and fascinating people our community has to offer – working at Sunrise, I am honored to have exactly that opportunity.
When I’m not at Sunrise, I enjoy spending time with my family, including two daughters, reading, and relaxing by the ocean whenever I can do so."
"I have enjoyed working for Sunrise since 2006. Previously I had worked at St Claire’s Hospital, most recently, as an assistant patient care manager. This position helped me prepare for my role as Resident Care Director here at Sunrise of Madison. Every day I look forward to working closely with a devoted team to achieve an amazing care environment for our residents. I especially enjoy meeting new prospective residents and their families and helping to assess and plan their care to move into Sunrise. I am able to share with them what it’s like to live at Sunrise, having had my own father live in a local Sunrise.
On my days off, I may be attending events at my church or going to a garage sale with my husband of 25 years."
"Working in sales, I get the pleasure of working with different families every day. I have the opportunity to bring Sunrise to them. Being able to confidently show a family what being a Sunrise Community means and that there is a solution to their struggles is an amazing feeling. Guiding a family though the entire process and then seeing their loved one flourish in our community is the most rewarding part of my job.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy cooking, exploring new music and reading/writing poetry."
In my spare time, I like to read the Bible.”
