We are pleased to introduce you to just a few of our many essential team members. Each member of our group here at Sunrise of Minnetonka firmly believes in the Sunrise mission: to champion the quality of life for all seniors. We are honored to spend our days caring for the residents that we call family.
I grew up in the St. Croix River Valley for the majority of my life. I graduated from UWRF with Bachelors in Biomedicine, Minor in Chemistry, and Pre-Professional in Veterinary Medicine. I have been with my Fiancé Jordan for 9 years. We have two cats, Lilly and Flynn, and one dog named Dexter.
Sunrise provides such an opportunity and honor to be welcomed to serve our residents in their home. It is my absolute privilege to be a part of such an amazing team here at Sunrise of Minnetonka. Nurturing the spirit of every resident in any way possible brings true fullness to each day. Nothing is more amazing than building such special and close bonds with everyone. Every life has sacred value and to honor that makes every day complete.
In my spare time I like to watch rugby games as well as making artwork from working hot glass. I took glass blowing in college and have been doing that for seven years now. I have served various sectors within the senior community for the past seven years working in skilled nursing, hospital settings, assisted living, hospice and home health
“I love seeing my residents every morning and continuing to build a relationship with each of them. I wouldn’t be as successful here as I am today without my amazing team members. As a team we work every day to improve the quality of life of all of our residents and maintain the relationship we have built with them.
I chose Sunrise because the residents are the main priority. Residents are encouraged to participate in daily activities such as: exercise classes, flower arranging, outdoor activities, bus rides, fishing, movie outings, lunch outings, and so much more. Sunrise is always looking to better the well-being of others, including the staff. Residents are allowed freedom of choice and encouraged to be independent.”
“In my role, my main priority is to help our residents in every way possible while giving them freedom of choice and preserving dignity.
I’m proud to work at Sunrise because of the way our teams work together to make our residents’ lives the best they can be. I love to see the special connection we all make with our residents, especially with music! A day without Johnny Cash is just not a day!”
