Meet some of the members of our team here at Sunrise of Naperville North, Illinois.
"I have been the Executive Director at the community since 2016. My favorite part of my job is engaging with our residents and assuring they are truly cared for while providing our family members peace of mind. The best part of working at Sunrise is the phenomenal amount of support and dedication provided to all team members in every aspect of their role and the extensive resources and systems available to provide the best care and service to our residents.
In my spare time, I enjoy sharing moments with my beautiful wife and two daughters and I also enjoy listening to my extensive vinyl collection while taking on various wood-working projects."
"I work with a team of professionals that have caring, serving hearts; and who show compassion to our residents and their families while providing the best care. They exemplify our core values of passion, respect, trust, joy in service and stewardship. The Sunrise team takes a kind-hearted approach to senior care. It’s a value we all share. And we are guided by the same Principles of Service to our residents: encouraging independence, enabling choices, preserving dignity, celebrating individuality, nurturing the spirit, and involving family and friends.
I love knowing that I make a difference every day in the lives of our residents. It is a privilege to work with my team members to champion the quality of life for all seniors through a care-focused environment that allows them to live their life to the fullest. Working with seniors is my passion. I enjoy being in their company and learning about their lives and experiences and I am fortunate to do what I love as a career.
In my spare time, I relax by playing golf and exercising, volunteering and spending time with family and friends.
It is a privilege to work for Sunrise."
Brittany has been a Sunrise team member since 2015. Before coming to Sunrise, she spent several years working in skilled nursing and rehab. For Brittany, the best part of working at Sunrise is getting to work with the teams at Sunrise of Naperville and Sunrise of Naperville North – they are like family. In her spare time, she likes to hang out with her cat, 2 dogs, and fiancée. She loves to be outside with them – hiking, camping, and just playing in the backyard.
"I have been with Sunrise since 2002! I began my career at Sunrise as a Care Manager, and now, I oversee all of the care managers in assisted living. I love building relationships with the residents and their families. My favorite thing about working at Sunrise is the connections I build with the residents and their families to ensure that they are able to live with purpose every day through our Principles of Service."
"My name is Evelyn Young, RN, BSN, and I am the Resident Care Director for Naperville North. I have 15 years of nursing experience, ten of those years being in the acute care setting and five in post-acute care skilled nursing facilities.
My favorite part of my job is being able to get to know people from so many different walks of life and being able to experience history and different cultures through someone else’s lens. One can travel the world through conversations with our residents. My favorite thing about Sunrise itself is that they are very passionate about promoting people from within and rewarding years of service and experience with a chance to grow one’s skills and career.
In my spare time, I love to go dancing, working out, sailing and road trips with my family through the mountains."
"My favorite part of the job is being able to give resident’s purpose back through the many different activities that we create for our residents. In our community, we engage residents in a robust daily activity programming. We offer two types of programming, Live with Purpose and Live with Fulfillment.
The best part of working for Sunrise is being able to work for a company who truly cares about residents and the staff.
In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and friends."
