Meet some of the hard-working members of our team here at Sunrise of Norwood, MA.

Jennifer.ED_NorwoodJennifer Trout

Executive Director

"I started with Sunrise in 2002, as a Reminiscence Lead Care Manager at Sunrise of Cohasset and in 2006 became the Assisted Living Coordinator at Sunrise of Cohasset. I became an Executive Director in 2015 at Sunrise of Wayland and joined the Sunrise of Norwood team in 2019.

My favorite part of the job is learning something new every day. When working with people, no day is ever the same especially in an Assisted Living community. Assisted Living is constantly evolving and Sunrise provides the tools to be front-runners in the industry. In the words of one of Sunrise’s founders, Paul Klaussen, “the best Assisted Living has yet to be invented". The best part about working at Sunrise is interacting with so many different people from the residents to the team. Love hearing everyone’s personal stories and incorporating their experiences into community’s daily life to create a homelike atmosphere.

Love spending time with my twin daughters and husband. You can often find us spending time at the beach, at a soccer field, or walking our two French mastiffs.

Assisted Living Coordinator

"I have worked for Sunrise for three years. I started as the Reminiscence Coordinator and then transitioned into the Assisted Living Coordinator.

My favorite part of my Job has to be supporting our families as their loved ones age, need more assistance and become frailer. Everyone hears the expression that it takes a village to raise a child; well it also takes a village to support and care for our aging loved ones. It is so important to me that our families know that they are no longer an island caring for the loved one independently but they are now part of our Sunrise Family and we are all her to support one another. The past part about working at Sunrise is the connections you make with residents and their families. I love when I am able to make a personal connection with a resident and/or family member.

In my spare time you can find me in the kitchen cooking with my daughter or spending time with my parents."

Hillary.RC_NorwoodHillary Therriault

Reminiscence Coordinator

"How long have you worked with Sunrise and what is your prior experience (if related to current role)? I have worked at Sunrise for 2 ½ years, 3 years in September. I started in 2017 as the Life Enrichment Manager. I started in senior care as a CNA, then moving to activities positions throughout my career.

My favorite part of the job is knowing that I’m helping to make a difference in the lives of my residents and their family. The best part of working at Sunrise is the family feel. Sunrise feels like a big family from the moment you step in the door.

In my spare time, I enjoy walking my dog Charlie and exploring the New England area."

Eric.AVC_NorwoodEric Saulnier

Activity and Volunteer Coordinator

"I have worked at Sunrise for 22 years. My favorite part of the job was enriching the Lives of our Residents on a daily basis. The best part about working at Sunrise is the relationships I have built over the years with residents and their families.

In my spare time I like to spend time with my 3 children, Coach Hockey, Play golf, and guitar
