We’re welcoming brighter days while continuing to promote health and safety.
"I have worked for Sunrise for three years. I started as the Reminiscence Coordinator and then transitioned into the Assisted Living Coordinator.
My favorite part of my Job has to be supporting our families as their loved ones age, need more assistance and become frailer. Everyone hears the expression that it takes a village to raise a child; well it also takes a village to support and care for our aging loved ones. It is so important to me that our families know that they are no longer an island caring for the loved one independently but they are now part of our Sunrise Family and we are all her to support one another. The past part about working at Sunrise is the connections you make with residents and their families. I love when I am able to make a personal connection with a resident and/or family member.
In my spare time you can find me in the kitchen cooking with my daughter or spending time with my parents."
"I have been a geriatric nurse for more than 15 years. I graduated from UMASS Boston with a Bachelors of Science concentrating in Biology and Management Information Systems. In 2005, I obtained my nursing degree at Laboure College. Prior to coming to Sunrise, I worked at a skilled nursing facility as a Director of Nursing Services and have been able to use my knowledge to provide fantastic resident centered care at Sunrise of Norwood. I continuously strive to provide patient-focused care to the aging. In our community, my goal is to work collaboratively with the wellness team and care managers to implement individualized interventions to improve our residents quality of life and champion their way of life.
Every moment in the community I get to connect with and support my team, our families and our residents.
In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family which consists of two teenagers, my husband and my dog. When I have time to myself you can find me painting with oil, pursuing my love of photography or baking delicious treats."
"I have worked at Sunrise for 22 years. My favorite part of the job was enriching the Lives of our Residents on a daily basis. The best part about working at Sunrise is the relationships I have built over the years with residents and their families.
In my spare time I like to spend time with my 3 children, Coach Hockey, Play golf, and guitar
