Dining Services Coordinator, Christine Hopp, began her career with Sunrise 13 years ago as a housekeeper and fell in love with Sunrise’s environment and warm sense of community. Within six months of joining our team, she took on a new challenge as a one of our cooks and it’s been history ever since! She now not only supports our community, but also provides guidance for eight other Sunrise Dining teams in the surrounding area. We are lucky to have her!
Our Palos Park residents know their opinions are always taken seriously. Our dining team regularly meets with our resident-based Food Committee to tailor the menu as needed.
Recently a group of our residents were reminiscing about how they used to cook “breakfast for dinner” for their families. Shortly thereafter, our dining team whipped up some amazing homemade pancakes with blueberry compote for a special supper…it was the talk of our community for days!
