Dakota Trent

Reminiscence Coordinator

"I have years of experience in memory care, working with the Alzheimer’s & Dementia population. My education includes a MS in Long-Term Health Care Administration with a focus on Gerontology.

My favorite part about my work environment is that every day is a new experience filled with social activities, that allow residents to feel purposeful, needed, and respected. My team and I receive a great sense of fulfillment knowing we are providing residents with high quality care during this sensitive phase of their lives.

The best part about working at Sunrise is that Sunrise provides us with a high-quality care & activity platform that makes aging positive and fun. This platform provides us with the opportunity to debunk stereotypes associated with aging and senior living. Sunrise not only focuses on the care of the residents but also the care providers.

During my spare time I like to read and spend time with my family."

Activities & Volunteer Coordinator

"I’ve been with Sunrise since 2017. I started at Sunrise of Exton as the Life Enrichment Manager. After a year I became the Lead Care Manager for Personal Care. Shortly after, I was accepted into the DCIT program. I was able to get the position I have now after being in the program for just six months.

I enjoy everything about my job. Spending time with the residents and making their day is the best part. I look forward to seeing them just as much as they enjoy seeing me. The residents make me happy, they give me purpose.

I love working for Sunrise because the company invest in your growth. There’s so many opportunities for growth and Sunrise will coach and support you in every way to make you successful.

In my spare time, I love spending it time with my family and friends. I enjoy decorating parties, shopping and, making crafts."

Medication Care Manager

“During my five years with Sunrise of Paoli, I have experienced such joy seeing the residents smile when I approach them. I love to sing to my residents and it’s rewarding to help each person with their individual needs.

When I’m not at work, I like to decorate my home and cook for my family.”
