Executive Director

“I joined the team here at Sunrise of Rochester after serving as the administrator for a very large sub-acute nursing home with 295 residents. I felt like I didn’t get to know the residents or their families because of the quick turnaround.  When I decided to make a change, I knew I wanted to work for the most stable assisted living company out there, and Sunrise has a stellar reputation. Now, I am able to meet every family and resident and build lasting friendships. 

Outside of work, I spend time with my family. I have been married over 30 years and have three grown children and two grandchildren.”

"I’ve been back just over 2 weeks and previously worked for Sunrise for 12 years. I started off doing care, and grew to sales.

My favorite part of the job is that I have the opportunity to help provide a solution to someone in need.

The best part of working at Sunrise is the connections I’ve made. The connections with residents, their families, and my team members. I’ve made lifelong friends, and have many fond memories while working at Sunrise.

I enjoy spending time with family, and going to the gym."

"As a nurse I have always had a passion for helping others.  I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Detroit. I love to assist seniors and their families navigate the health care arena.  I always seek to support their understanding of what the best services may be for their needs.  

Working at Sunrise these past years I have enjoyed the people more than anything.  I feel fully supported by my team and know we are all working with dedication and love to support our residents.  

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, shopping for beautiful vintage items, and spending time with my husband of over 30 years and our two sons."

Business Office Coordinator

"I began working as the Business Office Coordinator for Sunrise of Bloomfield Hills in June of 2018. Prior to Sunrise, I worked in the senior living industry for 16 years. My favorite part of my job is interacting with residents and their families. Every day is a blessing working with such a wonderful group of people that are passionate about helping seniors and their families. 

In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, spending time with my family and friends, and physical fitness."

Reminiscence Coordinator

"I joined the Sunrise team in 2006. I have experience in Phlebotomy as well as a Dementia Practitioner. I am also hospice Certified, and previous experience as a Medical assistant, and a CNA. My favorite part about Sunrise is the company's mission. I’m a loving wife and mother to my four beautiful children, I love watching them grow and hanging with my family!"

Activities & Volunteer Coordinator

"When I originally joined the team at Sunrise of Rochester I started as a concierge. I enjoyed this role so much as I was able to build a relationship with every resident and their family members. Coming in to work has never felt like a chore, it has become a passion. I am now the Activity & Volunteer Coordinator, or as I say, the fun of the building! I am so appreciative for all that Sunrise has taught me and for every bond that I have built here. I can’t wait to make more memories with my team and our residents.”

"I joined Sunrise in 2015. What makes Sunrise special is the team members and the community environment. My favorite part of working at Sunrise is interacting with residents and getting to know each residents history and story. In my spare time, I enjoy taking care of my 3 month old twins ,and golf when they are sleeping!"
