Resident Care Director

"I have worked at Sunrise of Roseville since 2006 when I started as a medication care manager. It wasn’t until after I joined the team that I realized I wanted to pursue a nursing career. I was a Sunrise wellness nurse for nearly a decade before stepping into the Resident Care Director role. I oversee our nursing department as well as our medication care managers. There is just an overall sense of family and community here. My family moved my own grandmother to Sunrise, so I have been able to experience both sides.

My favorite part about coming to work each day are the residents themselves. There are so many fascinating seniors who reside in our community, and getting to know them on a personal level is so rewarding. When I am not working, I love to spend time with my husband, our son Maks and our two dogs, Stella and Stoli."

Resident Care Coordinator

"I joined Sunrise of Roseville in October of 2013 with over a decade’s worth of experience providing care for seniors, specifically those living with dementia. I have been a care manager, lead care manager, med care manager, resident care supervisor, reminiscence coordinator, and most recently I have become Sunrise of Roseville’s Resident Care Coordinator—specializing in Validation® Therapy. I take pride being the go-to person for any questions or concerns regarding your loved one’s needs. Our care team is truly the best in the industry and our training is world-class.

My favorite part about working for Sunrise is and always will be the residents. At Sunrise, we value quality of life and resident choice. We work with each resident to craft an individualized care plan that meets your unique needs and adapts to your preferred schedule. Are you a late riser? Do you prefer to eat in a smaller group rather than a larger group? Are you introverted and prefer to observe activities instead of participating in them? What is most important to you in your daily routine? What brings you joy? These important details help our designated care team understand you as a person and how we can help you live the life you want to live."

Activities & Volunteer Coordinator

"I have been an activity coordinator for over 18 years and have been with Sunrise of Roseville since 2017. The unique “Live with Purpose” programming with its 8 signature programs is what sets Sunrise apart from all the rest. I love my job and enjoy getting to know each resident on an individual basis. My favorite part of each day is bringing the residents together and putting a smile on their face, knowing that I made their day more rewarding.

I believe in the Sunrise mission, "championing the quality of life for all seniors," and am proud to be part of the resident centered activity program that has something for everyone. In my spare time, I spend time with my family, reading and traveling."

Maintenance Coordinator

"As the Maintenance Coordinator, I oversee the housekeeping department and maintenance facilities. I take pride in being “Mr. Fix It,” and want to make sure your loved one’s needs are handled in a timely manner. A favorite quote of mine is, “Excellence isn’t an event but a habit.” I really believe that if we consistently do our best, we can achieve excellence in providing a place our residents love to call home. Besides spending time with family, I love giving back to my community whenever I can. One of the ways I have done this is by starting and directing a community garden."

Medication Care Manager

"My favorite part about my job is building relationships with the residents and becoming part of their family. I enjoy all the stories, wisdom, and advice that they have to offer from their own life experiences. I want all the residents to be happy, feel safe, and know that they are loved. We laugh together, we cry together, and we go through the ups and downs together.

In my spare time, I love to be outside. I like to go camping, hiking, and I travel whenever I get the chance. I also attend college courses online which keeps me very busy."
