How we’re responding as our vaccination rates rise.
"I joined the Sunrise of Sacramento family in March 2019. I say family because we truly embrace all team members, coordinators and, first and foremost, our residents like a part of our extended family. We get to enjoy the happy moments in laughter together and lift each other’s’ spirits in times of difficulty. Thankfully, I experience some piece of joy every day. A principle of service I strive to provide in all my interactions is preserving the dignity of each and every resident. My own grandmother lives in a Sunrise community and I find peace in knowing that the team members at her community like all Sunrise communities 'respect their elders.' A phrase my grandmother taught me from a very young age. Each resident has a story and whether you know it or not, living for as long as they have, in my mind, that warrants the absolute and upmost respect.
Outside of the business office, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, my husband, and our son. South Lake Tahoe is my favorite place and I try to visit as often as possible. My two favorite seasons are Summer and Winter. Each perfect for my favorite activities, boating, wake boarding and snowboarding. "
"My passion for taking care of Seniors has led me to Sunrise, a place where we are treated as family and value the quality of life for all. I came to Sunrise in the fall of 2014 as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. It was during those first couple of years, I understood what it was like to be part of a true team. They motivated me to return to school an obtain my Registered Nursing Degree and offered me the Resident Care Director position soon after. I encourage all to pursue their dreams as I was able too. At Sunrise, we are dedicated to providing clinical care in the comforts of a home like setting and celebrate life in everyone individual way. When not at the community, I am the mother of 2 teenage boys, love watching my football, and tending to my succulent garden."
