Sunrise of Shrewsbury

Meet the Sunrise of Shrewsbury Team

Nicole D'AndreaNicole D’Andrea, CALA

Executive Director

"I began my journey with Sunrise Senior Living in 2014 in the Business Office at Sunrise of Westfield. Shortly thereafter, in January 2015, I moved into the Executive Director role in the same community and I’ve never looked back. I’ve had the pleasure of working in several Sunrise communities and each one of them is unique in its own way, but the one thing that remains constant is the compassion of the team, the homelike environment and above all, the resident centered care. Being an Executive Director means so much to me.

The best part of my job is being able to build long lasting relationships with the residents, families and the team. Working at Sunrise is about being part of a community and working together to achieve the ultimate goal, which is to champion the quality of life for all seniors.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three beautiful children who keep me very busy!"

nilia riveraNilia Rivera, RN

Resident Care Director

Nilia is responsible for the overall leadership of the wellness department, and management of the health and well-being of the residents within the community. Nilia brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to the community. Nilia recently joined Sunrise, as a per diem Wellness Nurse. She started her nursing career as a Certified Nursing Assistant, while studying to become an LPN. After 15 years of nursing, Nilia decided to further her education and career, and went back to school to receive her RN. Since becoming Registered Nurse, Nilia has worked in various nursing roles in long term care, including Unit Manager, Shift Supervisor, Resident Care Director and most recently Assistant Director of Nursing.

Nilia has an inherent nature of being compassionate and states that her favorite part of her job is getting to know each resident individually so that she is able to earn their trust and respect.  She is eager to put a face to a name and learn something about each of the residents, their families and her team.  Nilia will always ensure that her and her team will do what it takes to provide the highest level of quality care for our residents day in and day out. She leads a united team at Sunrise with caring hearts and smiles, and a willingness to work together.

In her spare time, Nilia loves to listen to all kinds of music, but Christian Pop is her favorite (you can hear it playing in her office during the day). She loves to shop, go to dinner and movies with friends, but most of all, she loves spending time with all 7 of her grandkids!

Paul SinghPaul Singh

Resident Care Coordinator

“I started working for Sunrise in 2017. I began by working in the dining room as a server. I have worked in several other departments such as activities, care manager, sales and now as a Resident Care Coordinator.

My favorite part of the job is to be able to provide excellent care experience for our residents as well as their families. Working in sales gave me a chance to bring new residents into our community and becoming the RCC now lets me fulfill the commitment our sales team promises families and residents about our care and compassion towards each individual in our community.

When I am not working, I enjoy eating, watching and playing basketball and going to the gym.”

"I started working for Sunrise back in 2012 at Sunrise of Jackson. Since then, I have worked in several communities in several different roles.

My favorite part about working for Sunrise is building relationships with families and residents once they move into the community.

In my spare time, I enjoy listening to all different types of music, shopping and, when the weather is nice, going on long walks."
