Sunrise of Shrewsbury

Meet the Sunrise of Shrewsbury Team

Nicole D'AndreaNicole D’Andrea, CALA

Executive Director

"I began my journey with Sunrise Senior Living in 2014 in the Business Office at Sunrise of Westfield. Shortly thereafter, in January 2015, I moved into the Executive Director role in the same community and I’ve never looked back. I’ve had the pleasure of working in several Sunrise communities and each one of them is unique in its own way, but the one thing that remains constant is the compassion of the team, the homelike environment and above all, the resident centered care. Being an Executive Director means so much to me.

The best part of my job is being able to build long lasting relationships with the residents, families and the team. Working at Sunrise is about being part of a community and working together to achieve the ultimate goal, which is to champion the quality of life for all seniors.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three beautiful children who keep me very busy!"

Tammy PalermoTammy Palermo

Director of Sales

“I began my career in Assisted Living as an Activities Director in 2014. I realized quickly I had a passion for connecting with the families and residents. In 2019, I happily accepted the Associate Director of Sales position at Sunrise of Shrewsbury. Now as the Director of Sales, I am delighted to be the Liaison between our future families and our community. What I love the most about Sunrise is our approach to individualized care while always maintaining the dignity of all our residents.

The best part of my job is getting to know the families and providing them with comfort, trust and peace of mind knowing they have all the resources needed to make the right decision for their loved ones.

In my spare time, I enjoy family vacations with my husband, 3 children, Daughter in Law, and my granddaughter.”

Dru FlynnDru Flynn

Resident Care Director

"I first started with Sunrise in 2011 as a Wellness Clerk while I was in nursing school. I then worked my way up to a CNA, CMA, and eventually Wellness Nurse when I graduated. I left Sunrise for a few years to further my experience in the acute care setting and continued my education, going on to earn my Bachelors and Master’s degrees in Nursing. Since I was lucky enough to start my healthcare career at Sunrise, I knew what it was like to form strong relationships with residents and family members and I found myself missing that while working in the acute care setting. I returned to Sunrise in 2018 as the Resident Care Director and have loved working in this role."

Paul SinghPaul Singh

Resident Care Coordinator

“I started working for Sunrise in 2017. I began by working in the dining room as a server. I have worked in several other departments such as activities, care manager, sales and now as a Resident Care Coordinator.

My favorite part of the job is to be able to provide excellent care experience for our residents as well as their families. Working in sales gave me a chance to bring new residents into our community and becoming the RCC now lets me fulfill the commitment our sales team promises families and residents about our care and compassion towards each individual in our community.

When I am not working, I enjoy eating, watching and playing basketball and going to the gym.”

Racquel WilliamsRacquel Williams, CALA

Business Office Coordinator

"I started working for Sunrise back in 2012 at Sunrise of Jackson. Since then, I have worked in several communities in several different roles.

My favorite part about working for Sunrise is building relationships with families and residents once they move into the community.

In my spare time, I enjoy listening to all different types of music, shopping and, when the weather is nice, going on long walks."
