"I have been with Sunrise Senior Living since June of 2018 and had the distinct privilege to take on the role of Director of Sales at the new Sunrise of Summit in August of 2019.

My favorite part of my Director of Sales position is meeting with the families and prospective residents and talking to them about why their first and only choice should be Sunrise Senior Living. The reason why? Sunrise is the very best in care! Our care is resident centered which is so important since every resident is difference and their care needs are different. We understand details matter. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for our seniors.

I feel such a sense of accomplishment and pride working for Sunrise. I love the company as a whole; how they treat their employees is amazing.  I am very proud to be associated with such a wonderful company!

I spend my spare time reading, Pilates, visiting with my relatives and friends, and traveling to Lake George, NY whenever possible".

"I was brought on board in May of 2021, and I am brand new to Sunrise! I am so excited to be joining the Sunrise of Summit team and begin my new journey with a company whose values, morals and ethics align with my own. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Administration from Kean University, accompanied with approximately 7 years of senior living experience in multiple settings including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, Memory Care and Psychiatric Units.

My favorite part of my job is connecting and growing relationships with residents, family members, and the community, while making every experience one to remember! The best part of working at Sunrise is the overwhelming amount of support that I receive from our team. It is a true “All Hands-on Deck” mindset that is much appreciated.

In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, running, cooking, traveling, and spending time with my significant other and family and friends."

"I first joined Sunrise in 2005 as a designated care manager and for the past 15 years I have supported 4 of our Sunrise communities.

The best part of working at Sunrise is meeting and working with residents, families, and team members from all walks of life. I don’t consider my career at Sunrise as a job but a personal calling. In 2015, I was promoted to Assisting Living Coordinator and joined Sunrise of Summit in this role. I am a Job coach and Mentor for department coordinators in training. I most recently took on the role as Resident Care Coordinator.

When I am not at Sunrise, I enjoy spending time with my family and am a devoted mother and wife."

"I come to Sunrise with over 7 years of experience working in programming in various health care settings. I bring my creativity and my passion for working with older adults to highlight all their accomplishments, personal interest and spend one-on-one time and in small group settings a variety of programs that keep their minds stimulated. It is my goal to engage and bring our residents both purposeful and meaningful programs while promoting a positive and happy environment.

When I am not in the community, I have many personal hobbies which include participating in obstacle runs such as the Tough Mudder, scrapbooking, and Sudoku puzzles!"

"I’ve had the pleasure of working at Sunrise since 2017 after I graduated from Stockton University. I majored in Healthcare Administration and minored in Gerontology, which is how I discovered my passion for working with seniors. Working at Sunrise has shown me what a difference I can make in someone’s life. I love being a resource to new families at the community. Sunrise truly becomes home to our residents, their families, and even our team members. The most rewarding part of my job is training and mentoring our team members to further their growth and development within the company.

When I’m not working, I love going to the beach and spending time with my family and friends. I also like to watch baseball and football games- I’m a big fan of the Yankees and Giants!"

Maintenance Coordinator

"I have been with Sunrise for 16 years and started off my career at our sister community located in Basking Ridge before joining the Summit team.

It is my job to ensure that all of our building and safety protocols are in place. I am also responsible for maintaining the overall mechanical functioning of the community as well as being focused on maintaining infection control measures for the safety of all residents and team members.

Before joining Sunrise, I spent 15 years specializing in auto body repair, ultimately becoming a paint shop manager. I truly enjoy working on projects and most importantly making the move-in experience for our residents pleasant by assisting families during times of moving in and beyond. I am truly dedicated to Sunrise and the commitment we have to our residents, families and team members every day!

When I am not at Sunrise, I enjoy spending time with my family and my hobbies which include wood working and various home modifications."
