Colleen Leigh

Executive Director

“I have 10 years of experience with Sunrise Senior Living and I have served in several roles at both Sunrise of Vancouver and Sunrise of Victoria. My favourite part of my job is interacting with residents and hearing their incredible and inspiring life stories. 

I enjoy having a community of caring team members around me. Here at Sunrise of Victoria, we foster a wonderful sense of family through our residents and their families and friends.

When I’m not supporting my Sunrise team, I spend my personal time reading, hiking and being outdoors in beautiful British Columbia.”

Bonnie Harris 

Director of Sales

“I have eight years of experience with Sunrise and more than 25 years of experience in sales and marketing management.

My favourite part of my role is assisting family members through their transition while moving their loved ones into long-term care, due in part to my own personal experience with my parents. I empathize with the adult child’s challenge of making the right decision. 

When I’m not assisting families, I am an avid book collector, nature photographer and I have embarked on genealogical research of my ancestry, which I have discovered will be a lifelong quest.”

Amanda Price 

Associate Director of Sales

“Prior to joining Sunrise of Victoria more than a year ago, I worked in sales and event planning in the hospitality industry. I hold a diploma in operations management and I studied sales and marketing.

My favourite part of my job is working with families and seniors, and helping make those difficult decisions a little bit easier. I want to ensure that seniors and their loved ones receive the quality care and the dignity they deserve.

At Sunrise, I work alongside an incredible, inspirational team.  It’s a very warm and family atmosphere.

In my spare time, I enjoy the spectacular nature we have here and around Victoria.”

Lead Care Manager

“I value the care and attention I’m able to provide to our residents each day. It’s my mission to ensure they all receive the best possible care. During my 10 years with Sunrise, I have had the opportunities to learn and grow. Sunrise embraces diversity and celebrates a multicultural heritage. 

When I’m not at Sunrise, I enjoy watching television news and spending time with my religious community.”

Patricia Smith

Medication Care Manager

 “I have 15 years of experience here at Sunrise of Victoria. I really love spending time with each resident to share a joke and chat. My job enables me to know each resident, and I feel fulfilled when my residents show their appreciation for what I do with a smile.  

I love the feeling of closeness to my residents, their families and my fellow team members. Sunrise feels like home to me.

In my spare time, I am busy with my family and my three special dogs, Pebbles, BamBam and Lil’ Boo.”
